    I still hate the setup, like why can't we have 20 1v1 maps and just remove which ones you don't want to play.

    The map pool is always small and needs to be increased.

    New maps is always great, but the map pool need to also be bigger.

    For once i agree with dustin.:P That kind of system would be amazing. Where they just put in tons of maps and everyone chooses like 7-10 they want to play on.

    The problem with that approach is that it leads confusion over the maps, as with a larger map pool it is harder to figure out each map. Lesser experienced players would end up playing on a different map for almost every game. Also, it could result in people choosing only maps that favor their race, meaning everyone will likely play a disproportionate number of mirror matchups.

    I agree, however, that it would be certainly better than the current system of adding poorly made maps to replace other poorly made maps every half year. In addition, it would be easier for tournament makers to choose their own map pools, and for pros to select the map pool for the tournament they need to practice for.

    Faster rotations, as Blizz has said they want to do, would also help alleviate the issue.

    ... i had two protosses bitcha bout the map pool change on ladder today. not that they made much sense.
    I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
    I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.
    I'm being more social, active and honest lately. in all forums.

    Disappointed there are no new 3v3s - I actually thought Quicksand was pretty good - I mean, how did Colony 426 make the cut? - Often, the whole match seems to come down to which guy on the middle islands gets rushed first.....

    I wish a more flexible map system with a huge map pool were possible but it just isn't feasible while keeping matchmaking time down and acquainting new players.

    As far as the new maps go, I only have a few complaints, first and foremost with some of the map balances. There are certainly some maps that are awful in team play too.
