I going to buy gas thats 60 cents cheaper, american-chinese made jeans for $5, and if I was old enough I would buy alcohol thats $15 which costs $40 here.

FYI, my statement was to say that, if you look at things pessimistically enough, you can find just about any motivation to be selfish. Yes, even sending little Timmy off to college or humanitarian work in Haiti. You support little Timmy because he's your blood (if you mean he's your son) and being a humanitarian gives you feelings of well-being and purpose which is, pessimistically speaking, a selfish reason because you are not doing it simply for their benefit but also for your benefit. Since such a stance is ridiculous, I, like you, was making a joke of the "they're just greedy argument. Shame you didn't catch on.
