Thread: Do Blizzcon Attendees Keep Track of SC2's Progress?

I am a fan of both WoW and SC. It has surprised me over the past couple years that being a hardcore fan of both games seems to be rare.

Seeing both sides of the two communities, I feel like neither groups have much interest in the other side.

You can ask a hardcore SC/WoW player about the other game and it seems like 95% of the time you will get the answer that "it was OK, just not my thing".

As for Blizzcon, WoW is the active product with 11+ million subscribers who are about to get a first look at the next expansion. So that will be the major focus of convention and the majority of fans who attend the show.

I'm a SC and Diablo fan. Couldn't care less about the Warcraft universe.

I was a Warcraft fan too...until they screwed EVERYTHING up with it in WoW. Good Bye Warcraft forever. They've beaten it like a dead horse, there's nothing left.

There's really nothing wrong with WoW lore if that's what your talking about.

The only real problems with WoW at this point are: for some reason they wont balance the classes for pvp on a 1on1 basis. That would most basically all balance issues pretty fast, I'm sure StarCraft is done just like that, ex is some units have been designed to kill other units in a certain amount of hits depending on their HP.

That and the fact it's World of Casual Craft now, you don't even have to run raids to get raid gear =S you can run dead easy heroics for 3 hours and get the same gear people in raids work 8+ hours for, work in World of Warcraft now goes unrewarded, not like now it was back in the day... (I played WoW for 3 years and I just quit with this newest patch because of this issue).

    No offense but...

    LOL.

It's a video game, not a job. Beyond like 2 hours a day, time spent shouldn't even be a factor really... outside of actually leveling. Heroics aren't any easier than Raids, the only difference is the gear level, the actual skills necessary are easier in some raids even. Depending on the boss and whatnot.

I'm still sort of a WarCraft fan. I hate the direction the storyline has taken BIG time, but I'm enjoying playing WoW and WC3 anyway. And I suppose that sort of counts...
