I'm still loving WoW, and the more they're making it casual, the better.
I'm a hardcore player, but I don't need to spend 5 days a week grinding the same content over and over for the chance of a drop. I'm there to have fun with people I know, and the changes they made help that a lot (extending raid timer lockouts, token-based gear system to gear noobs and alts). And it's not like they're not adding hardcore content, the option's there if you want it.
As for Blizzcon, I'm a fan of all series with WC being on the top of my list. I'm a bit SC fan too. I think Blizzcon will focus more on Diablo 3 and WoW's expansion this time around. Not to say SC2 isn't important, but being this close to beta we know a lot there is to know about the game other than singleplayer, and I don't know if they'll be showing a lot of that during Blizzcon considering we just got two vids and a wealth of info from the fansite summit. Battle.net 2.0 will probably be the big news of SC2.
