You must be mistaken: "The storyline is so rich and so solid, and the characters are so interesting -- and approachable and identifiable". How can that be clichéd? ;-)

But seriously, is there a date on that post, or on the interview? I wonder if he is referring only to the original game, and if this was before the release of WoL.

If HOTS were to come out December 2011, it would have to enter Beta in September at the latest. We haven't even seen one screenshot, and there's no placeholder page for it.
Unless a massive flood of content comes in Summer...it's gonna be 2012..

Plus, they would have nothing to show in October's Blizzcon
