No, you will be able to install the game as many times as you want to, but you will need to verify your cd-key via internet/battle.net 2.0

This makes me think, if they plan on having a system similar to steam, if they will allow for SCII to feature some kind of 'spawn' feature like the first game.
That would allow them to join the main account's private game. This could be an alternative to LAN, except its on Battle.net.
I just have a feeling Blizzard is going to do something like that. It could also convince other people to buy the full game, and get all the bnet features as well as SP.

One thing I would like to say, this will not be the same like the infamous EA DRM. This will be something completly diffrent, so please guys don't go on this with all that "omg Blizzard is going to do the same thing like EA did!!!!111", no, this will be something like steam games verification.

No problem, sometimes it's hard to open your mind and understand things. This community is better at it than most, so if you find someone flaming you, it's typically better to explain your situation more than just defend. Little tidbit of advice
In your situation, I don't think it'd be an inconvience whatsoever. I don't mean to be accusational, but I'm perceiving your answers as an attempt to rile people up on your side. Ultimately, if you are installing the game, I'm sure you will be in a position to install it with some sort of internet access.. be it your house, a truckstop or an airport. After that, you should be able to play singleplayer at your heart's will. In terms of multiplayer, I don't forsee a person who travels to use multiplayer really without internet and therefore it's a moot point.
If you did depend on LAN because you travelled with others.. then that's a different story, and I'd advise to bring that up to the SC2GDF as that debate opens up every day on a new thread ^_^ Even though it's solid after Monday that it's gone for good.
While this is not 100% confirmed, it's solid speculation. While you can install the game on multiple computers for singleplayer.
The following is common speculation and is not confirmed by blizzard: (They may reveal some sort of spawn/trial basis at Blizzcon)
The battle.net experience (and by nature, all multiplay) will be for those who purchase the game. This means that if you install your computer at your house and a friend's house, only one person can be on battle.net at a time. This isn't different than old B.net. The only difference is, you don't have an alternative. While this isn't a large DRM, it's one that will bring awareness to otherwise unaware groups of people who thought it was "ok" to install it on multiple computers in a room and play between each other without spawn technology. Just two cents![]()

*smirks* Yeah, that part was indeed confirmed.. that's what this thread is about. As I said, while it's solid speculation that we can install on unlimited computer, we still don't have a single blue stating EXACTLY what the DRM entails.
Let me explain a possibility (Though unlikely) that when you install the game, it has to confirm a unique CD-key. If the key is already in use, the installation doesn't proceed until it's unregistered with the previous computer. I'll be the first to say this is HIGHLY unlikely. In fact, to support how unlikely it is, the other games from the Blizzard store can be installed multiple times on multiple computers.
It still doesn't change the fact that we don't have a confirmation on it, it will always be speculation until confirmed... no matter how likely it would be.
