    Default Korean 4-Gate vs. Terran

    After becoming miffed that Terrans are basically untouchable once they bunker up, I set myself upon finding a way to attack Terrans early. Regular 4 Warp Gate rushes have largely been utter failures (except for when Terrans fast-expand). So I was left with the earliest warp-gate timing attack that Protoss have: K4G. Yeah, this is an all-in, but like with all other all-ins, that label becomes subjective if you manage to do any damage. I also believe that nobody would be crazy enough to do this on the ladder, giving you a metagame advantage.

    So here are some replays against random terrans from custom games:
    vs Diamond
    vs Master
    vs Platinum

    Same as the regular K4G vs. Protoss, but you'll want to build your other 2 warp gates in a proxy location, and watch out for getting your probe or pylon killed. This build depends on you keeping your pylon location in the terrans' base a secret. If he finds it, then you've got to build enough pylons so that he can't kill them all in time. For some reason none of the players I played had the idea of sending a bunch of workers to attack the one pylon, so building more than one pylon is probably best. My execution is less than optimal, but I've only done this 3 times (of which I've won all, but still :P).

    I don't quite understand.

    Are you saying that because you have a hard time 4 gating in PvT, you've now switched to doing the K 4 WG build only?

    I don't think that Terrans are that untouchable after bunkering up. I've had huge success doing a 3 gate robo timing attack with 2 Immortals, aimed to punish terrans for getting greedy and FE'ing relatively early in the game, and expanding quickly thereafter my self.

    However, if a T is turtling on 1 base ( Bunkers/Tanks ), you probably shouldn't attempt to break it. Instead, get an observer out to see if something funky is up ( Banshee's should be your primary concern ), and simply counter/out expand him if not.

    I don't 4-gate in PvT, but this thread isn't about me. I'm posting a strategy.

    That's why I said in the OP that even 4-gate can work when they fast expand. However, both options are pretty all-inish and at that point it's better just to play safe.

    However, if a T is turtling on 1 base ( Bunkers/Tanks ), you probably shouldn't attempt to break it.
    And hence this strategy: you bypass his wall and have free reign on his base.

    Or, you could just go for the mass sentry style from oGsMC on 6 gates and a relatively fast expo. Use FF to deny repair on bunkers, and you can bust through the Terran's face
