Hmmm Seems internet lashes back at me again. I was hoping the smiley gave a sense of sarcasm. I didn't mean it as a smart mouth comment towards you Aldrius, simply yanking hav0x's chain.

I'm with Spychi on this one, the small details such as voice being a major contributor are going to be far more important to me than the multiplayer balance tweeks. I gotta say I'm excited for the bonus lore/stuffs there will be in the new story mode.

PS: I hope to hear Artanis some time, I really loved his SC1 voice and felt it grasped his 'younger' personality.

Furthermore, Blizzard themselves make a point out of having high standards of storytelling and coherence. This is one of the times they fail their own standards.

but honestly, isnt having raynors voice back more important than kerrigans? jim is really jim now, subtle, not redneky like he was a year ago etc. and it seems bit far out for me to complain now for 1% difference in kerrigan, when they did so many other things to please the fans. thats just my 2 cents

It is definitely much more than 1% different. I suggest you listen to the lines one after the other in succession, those are very different deliveries (and voices). And finally, both Kerrigan and Raynor are characters crucial to the storyline, so they are equally important.

I don't mind the laugh, and the tone is fine...

bbuuuutt.. I cannot STAND the way she tries so hard. I know it's a great honour to do this voice, but she doesn't have to exaggurate upon every word. She can just say 'eh-venchually' instead of 'eee-venchuaaallee', and 'EYE KNEW! *with glee* you'd find your way here...'

The 'your way here' is probably the only decent sounding segment. And now, I don't mind Zeratul's voice

When Raynor spoke in the new SP video you just knew that yes,

    "This is Jimmy."

When Kerrigan spoke up in that CG trailer last blizzcon with Glynnis voicing it I just had to smile. You knew it was the queen of blades before she stepped out of the shadow. The new voice is just off.

It has nothing to do about quality but more about voices being familiar. Maybe people are "whining" ( or as I like to call it, voicing their opinions ) cause they have a point.

Calling a Pepsi a coke doesnt make it a coke... in my opinion.

Exactly! Perfect analogy. Coke by far outshines Pepsi even though the tastes are only subtly different. Pepsi being sweeter, kinda like Karen.

I just did that back to back listen and I agree wholeheartedly with everyone in this thread, at least those who are on the side of Glynnis. I really just wonder who the fool was that made this descision in the first place? I would have thought it a fore-gone conclusion to reprise any voice actors that were still alive and kicking into their old roles. I mean if they'd done it to the marines and insignificant characters, it wouldn't bother me at all, but to do it to one of the Main characters, the frikken leader of the Zerg. It's like.. breaking my heart (of the swarm).

More like calling a Budweiser a Weihenstephan if you ask me.

I love broken people scrabbling for redemption - people like Raynor and Kerrigan, the two loneliest people in the universe, two beaten up people: can they pull themselves out of the mud they find themselves in and find redemption of some kind? I tend to chase things from that level, like the Kerrigan Raynor relationship to me is the heart of what StarCraft is
That is from the NDA Interview

Mass Effect Universe Fan, I support Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Game of the year award! ME2 still is being the best rated game this year! Keep it up

ARRRGGHH You can instantly tell that the old kerrigan (Glynis) was better.

    This new girl is just....awkward.
