Let me explain while he's answering other questions.
I think he was answering the question more generically than actually specifically answering his question. When he said "original" I think he meant that there was a perferred idea, they tried something new, then another thing, and found "let's go back to our perferred" to only try something else new.
Maybe another way to explain it was a more "design mentality" answer than an actual "this is the Nydus worm" answer.
EDIT: I confirmed this with him, when he said "original" he wasn't intending to mean "SC1" but rather, the "recent original concept before they tried something new"

Oh, well personally I think the Nydus Worm they showed at WWI 2008 was the best personally. Works well, is definitely better than the Nydus Canal was (lower tier, easier to spread creep, don't need individual canals to create passageways). Much better.
I'm just hoping that's the one in the game now. But I PMed Archer just to make sure I didn't gobble up space in your topic, Gifted.![]()

Will you be required to be connected to battle.net while playing the singleplayer campaign? I heard it will be at least encouraged, but what would the benefits for a player be?
What was the issue with battle.net that lead to the delay of the beta?
In an 8 player FFA, will the slowest pc set the speed for everyone, or will it run at low fps on the slow pc only? Does the speed of the gameplay scale with the framerate?

GOOD questions!!
Heres a question: Will you be able to play LAN through battle net? lol prob cant answer that =P
other question would be has the beta been pushed back because of the BUGS for Bnet 2.0 or was it because the final product is going to be more ambitious than Blizzard thought.
