I understand over the development cycle it comes down to "what works" and what can be made on a deadline, but I'm just curious as to whether or not having a broader level of usability by the users was something that was planned.

Also, can terrain be modified using triggers? I'd have to assume no, considering that the game uses several layers of terrain data rather than the simple singular tiles WC3 and SC used.

It must be nice after years of keeping your mouth shut to kind of let people know there's some flesh and blood behind SC2, huh?
(1:15:42 AM) Jack Doe: I can't answer the first question. I will say that there IS an answer to your question but I can't be the person to tell you. I can say that you and I could sit side by side and build maps with the same editor.

(1:16:50 AM) Jack Doe: I can answer questions. Always have been able to answer. The problem bringing it public, you have the public judging you and you have to be able to know what NOT to say. I've been able to talk to Kevin all this time, so it's not really been a matter of keeping my mouth shut I've known him for years and years. We do have flesh and blood though. Stab me, it will squirt in your eyes. I promise.

Who knows, maybe you're bored enough to answer this question (Hey, I'm bored enough with work to ask it): The Zergling has gone through several changes in SC2, with the most recent incarnation in the Battle Report 2 video resembling a bit of a Kangaroo.

What are the chances of the Zergling getting a few more design changes before the end, and more importantly to me, what are the chances of us getting something some-what resembling the original in-game unit?

We endorse the LAN in Starcraft 2 Please. Petition to Blizzard Entertainment.

(1:25:02 AM) Jack Doe: A priest, a rabbi and a drunken Russian walk into a bar. The bartender says "Hey, is this some kinda joke"
(1:25:08 AM) Kevin: You seriously want me to post that?
(1:25:16 AM) Jack Doe: Yes, see what the little fuckers say.

I take offense to that last bit.

'Little' is such a rude word. The proper term is 'midget'.
