which translates to be: 2 days for a loregasm
He has been posting this same message + 1 more day for each day past already of course, for the past little while (about 5 days?).
Now thats when the NDA is "reportedly" supposed to come off (August 17th) says "http://twitter.com/gadgetguy". As far as I know (please post if you know otherwise) there has been no hard evidence of the NDA being pushed back to Blizzcon. So that can only mean that the NDA that become effective sometime in july, when fansites came back to BLizzard HQ to check out (Battle.net 2.0?) something, because Battle.net 2.0 was not ready to be shown in June.
This is added to more when "Medievaldragon" posts in the comments on this post: "I am leaving to Blizzcon on Wednesday. For now, we got a little surprise for our fans on Monday and Tuesday. Stay tuned folks—it’s gonna nuke your socks off." What could this mean? Nuke? Could possibly just be a descriptive word of random choice.
Now something for sure is happening Monday and Tuesday regardless if it is Battle.net 2.0, SC2 or not. It's going to be whatever the fan sites saw at Blizzard HQ in July. Which is obviously more of a secret to keep than in June because of the length of the NDA and possibly proximity to Blizzcon? and more than likely SC2 related.
Now you could argue that it has nothing to do with Bnet or SC2 but if you think of it like this: Battle.net 2.0 had bugs and was not able to be shown off in June, so people came back in July when they (Blizzard) expected it to be fixed, (unless they were scheduled to come back in July before then?) and then it was fixed and is now ready to host SC2 beta and test the multi player capabilities of Bnet 2.0 itself. but then you ask yourself Supersonic you crazy smuck, SC2 has been delayed till 2010 because Bnet is not going to be ready, so your theory can't be right!
Well I submit to you that it's entirely possible that the "final" product of Bnet 2.0 will not be ready with the list of features and what not Blizzard has planned for it. BUT the multi player/SC2 beta portion of it could very well be ready for testing...
Now I realise this is a VERY small chance that this is the case, but it is a possibility, and this "loregasm" Monday and Tuesday raises an eye brow or 2.
But it could entirely be something to do with single player (hence LOREgasm) and I could be totally wrong and the wait till Blizzcon is getting to me. But can't you even give a little hope that something good (better than single player stuff =/) could happen?.. not that single player stuff is bad, it's just not as good as Beta ;]
Please feel free to discuss and shut down my theory =]
and yes I am only SLIGHTLY obsessively thinking about SC2...
