I got this in my e-mail inbox this morning:
It appears all my bitching about how much of a disappointment SC2 is to me caught Blizzards attention. Lulz.
Now I just need to decide to use the free 30 days, or delete this crap.

You'd probably enjoy WoW, it's actually very fun, but you would have to wrestle your addiction into submission at the end if you really don't want to play. Bar Tetris, it is the most addictive game I've ever played. I seriously wonder if they didn't design the soundtrack with Pavlov's dogs in mind to suck you into playing more. The sound of a mount being summoned, a level ding, and the loot noise still haunt me.

So I'm installing it now. Apparently its only the vanilla game, no expansions, which I find a bit surprising they're even still supporting its realms/servers. I guess we'll really see what its all about once its fully downloaded.

I wonder how Vanilla interacts with Cataclysm, considering the whole old-world was revamped, hopefully you'll get the new terrain/quests. The original version was not nearly as good as the expansions, although I never played Cataclysm.

I got the same. But I've got no time to play WoW because all that time is going into playing SC2
One game addiction is enough, especially when it's the cheaper alternative.

Holy crap this thing downloads slowly. I don't think I'll be able to start playing for another few hours at any rate. And I'm on a new computer with the fastest internet available. Fuckin eh.

I imagine your getting a fully updated version, which means you are essentially installing 6 years of back patches in addition to Vanilla.
