Chievy Help

I need some help on some achieves that I have a hard time solving and understanding.

Firstly is the Early Expansion achieve. Expand within 225 seconds (3 mins 45 secs). I built another hatchery by then and I did not get the achieve. Any help on this?

Next is the Haven's Fall achieve. I wish to get the Hard achieve but even in NORMAL my vikings get owned by the mutas easy. Is it me or is there a bug of some sort?

Next is The Dig. How do I sight Protoss buildings without getting my own units thrashed by the cannons?

Same goes for the Challenges.
I left Opening Gambit and Psionic Assault to get Gold (and silver actually). Any help on those?

Lastly is the puzzling finish within 8 hours achieve
Can I sidetrack and do Hard missions or must I do normal all the way. Next thing is must I do ALL 26 missions or just rush Tychus missions? Some help please.

Early expansion achievement is easy enough. Just go into a custom game and 14 hatch should do it. Or just go vs very easy AI on a novice map and just save up minerals and do a 6 hatch.:P I can't remember but I think I got that as zerg doing like a 12-14 hatch.

Just get more vikings and more marines. I remember doing that mission just crazily making tons of vikings.:P But going marine medic can basically do almost every map if not all map on campaign even on Brutal.

If you want to sight them then just get orbital commands before the mission and use scans then laser beam them. Piew piew.

The 8 hour achievement is just total mission time. Just run through the campaign. You don't need to do all the missions. Only need like 19 or something missions to complete it. Just rush through and it's pretty easy. I did it on my first run through to get the 8hour campaign completion achievement.

Dude must I build a hatch NEAR a mineral spot? Or somewhere specific? Or just right in my base?

Don't think so. I just planted it at my expo. Just try whatever works. Do it against very easy AI so you can just quit and retry it if you miss the timing. From what I remember when I did it, it counted even if the expo was still building when the time ran out. Maybe was changed in a patch. But a pretty easy achievement to get.

It depends on tech; sometimes I already have orbital... and sometimes I use stimmed marines, medics and marauders to run up the ramp for vision with siege tanks at the bottom for "profit" damage Marauder HP enable them to live through cannons while marine DPS just cleans up any stalkers/voidrays. I use some tanks to target colossi.

For Opening Gambit and Psionic Assault I tried it and got Silver. Gold dosen't seem to come my way no matter how hard I read the guides.
Those are my last 2 before my Specter portrait.

Well for opening gambit if you can't make it then it shows some problems with your basic macro skills. Like not well timed making the buildings and units, etc. Keep practicing and tightening up the build order (not getting supply blocked, keep making units, making enough SCVs for a good income) and watching the video like Gradius says should work.

For psionic assault guess you need more work on forcefield and psi storm placement. Maybe hallucination use and guardian shield use as well. Again watching videos should be very helpful.

Mass more vikings. You can literally win that mission with only viking and banshee. If you don't have banshee then mass rines and you are good to go.

If you don't have any air units, Mass Tanks like 20 of them. Then turtle to any base and lift 1 barracks for vision so that your laser can help.

Check the videos posted above or put in youtube the name of the achievement and you'll most likely find someone who has managed to do it.

What I did was restart the campaign and did the missions really fast. You don't need to do the Zeratul missions or the secret level. There are some missions that can be cheesed and be done very fast.

I have around 3.2K achievement points. LoA has around 4000 though. He is sick.
