Why? Because it was dominated by Koreans?

Probably want the best of each region and make it a bit more international. This way they can kind of control the spots and forcibly inject foreigners in.

Without a doubt if it was a pure season based off wins/losses with no region limits the league would be full of Koreans. Especially with a large prize pool (hoping. especially given what Sundance was saying) and MLG accommodating them well (flight, hotel, etc).

I've been burned by NASL before with their season ticket so this time "wait and see" seems the best approach.

they are refreshing teh format because the cuent system is too beneficial to those that once qualified for pool play and simpy show up to each MLG; even if they place last in their group they're gonna finish like top 25 and get enough points to requalify for pool play next MLG.

Is anyone watching MLG Orlando? I saw the TLO vs Boxer matches yesterday and they were absolutely amazing. Great use if hunter seeker missiles. I'm really excited for the rest of the tournament today and tomorrow.

Stopped really watching MLGs once Protoss started dropping off....but MLG Orlando's results.....woah....

HuK wins. Congrats to HuK. Perhaps he might be the first foreigner to win a GSL next year or the year after. MC second place. MC despite everyone believing he wouldn't be able to get the Code S spot manages to finish second. It's a good day for Protoss. Hopefully MC manages to stay in Code S this time. Definitely gonna be watching some of those VODs. Especially the hyped about SaSe vs Bomber series.
