They haven't played on any new maps other than Tal'Darim Altar and Crossfire, and we didn't get to see too much of Crossfire. I'm hoping to see some Crevasse or Terminus tomorrow.

Games on Tal'Darim were great, though. I can't wait to see more Terran take advantage of their command centers and rely on orbital commands and PF walls to bolster their late-game army. Mmmm... macro games...

Wonder if anyone has any confirmation on the change of the stage area for the GSTL. Specifically talking about instead of the announcers being between the soundproof booths they put a projector screen there. Is this a permanent change for future GSLs?? It's a good solution to players being able to hear the announcers. They probably even limit the speakers on the stage so the players can't hear it.

Watching the VODs of today's group games. Slayers ZeNEX game has drama I guess but I'm liking the oGs IM games better so far.

Important to note that it's Best of 1s. As they keep saying on State of the Game even the best pros have like a 70% win rate. So it is possible to be pwned by a no-name/Code A player. But i will admit some of them look more promising than most Code A players. Only some though.:P

So does everyone seem to agree these are pretty good to watch? I'm still in the round of 8 for jan season. So I'm wondering if I'd even be able to keep up watching singles and a team tournament. (crappy DSL in middle east with a monthly download max hurts)

Well some matches were really good. Lack of zerg play. A lot of TvT, TvP, PvP. Seen some really nice stuff from the oGs-IM games and the ST-TSL games. A lot more long games probably cos of the maps. I would say the matches are really good to watch but there are some games where it's not that great or just a cheese build. But consider sazun that the march season starts feb 22. So yeah you might not have the time.:P

so then the only tournament for feb is team one only?

Yup team tournament is the only one for feb technically. The next GSL starts at the end of feb though. Like i said in like the second post of this thread it's crazy how many tournaments they're planning. 11 tournaments this year. Basically one a month. Wonder though what month will have no tournaments.

Just tuned in to the live stream to watch marines dancing and teams dissing each other. LOL. At least a dramatic final.:P
