LOL.
Considering I haven't played the game since about 1 month after I bought it, haven't even thought to pick it up again, and that I've stopped reading/participating in these forums, I'd say Mediocre. I voted 'Crap' accidentally, but I would revote as 'Mediocre' or 'Pretty Bad' as a correction if I could. There also appears to be a marked decrease in forum activity in general in my opinion. So, while I know I'm not alone in my opinoin, there are perhaps more forum members who share my opinion than those who actively expressed it (like I did).
And for those who say that all I do on these forums is hate, take a look at my contributions/posts before the game was out. I was just as keen, excited and supportive as anyone else. The game itself ruined the game for me.

I'd say pretty good. SC2 has replay value for sure. There are certain missions that capture me the same way they did in Broodwar and Vanilla. Also, Ladder is fun even though due to IRL situation, I am only able to play about 1-3 games a day.
I voted amazing. Definitely worth my $60.
With Patch 1.2.0, I'm loving the game even more![]()

Glad at least few people have amazing time.
For me though I'd say its pretty mediocre. Story was cheesy, incoherent and a bit cliche.
Match making is good, but other than that I dislike custom maps screen, I dislike the region block, I dislike the map publishing limitations, I dislike custom games screen, I even dislike the chat channels. They feel like something from 1994 year and not something you would expect in 2010.
WC3 channels were just so much better.
I also think the screens are a bit messy and not really straightforward and overall its just a mediocre product with great multiplayer and match making, but nothing more!

Out of 10 it's a 9.5 - so amazing.
It's been hard going back to SC1, I occasionally play on my laptop only cuz it can't play SC2. Also, even though people will complain about it, Battle.net 2 really is a HUGE improvement from the first. It takes me 20 minutes now to get a game going on the original, never mind a fair one. And out of the 200+ ladder games I've played so far, only 2 I think I've gotten drops from someone. So it's 99% reliable, which is pretty damn good. So for ladder play, its the best RTS there is. I'm still waiting for custom maps to get better though, there's a few good ones here and there, but I think it'll still need time to truly evolve.
It's everything I expected... I just want my expansions now.![]()

Well wc3 is still better because of dota. But since it evolved with waracft 3 with duo to the expansion I can only wait and see.

Mass Effect Universe Fan, I support Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Game of the year award! ME2 still is being the best rated game this year! Keep it up

That would depend on the meaning you attach to 'Amazing' and what component of the game you are focusing on. I voted 'Amazing' but that's because I mostly ignore the SP when rating it as I spend 10000x more time on the MP. The MP is 'Amazing' to me because it has completely taken me from SCBW (no small feat) and kept me playing daily since release. No other game had done that, except for other Blizzard games. Basically, it has met my lofty expectations which is an 'Amazing' accomplishment and, therefore, deserves an 'Amazing' vote.
I would rate the SP as 'good' because it was a blast to play but had a disappointing story. If I were to average them into a rating a la a review, it would be great, however, there was no great, only 'good' and then 'amazing'. Quite a large gap there. 'Amazing' summed up my opinion more thoroughly than 'good' did because 'good' by a rational standard would be keeping my interest for about twenty or so hours a year or a review rating of 7/10. That doesn't describe StarCraft 2 to me.
If only the world thought more like Spychi it would be such a bett-- No, wait, we'd go back into the dark ages due to the backwards ass legal laws those idiots would create. StarCraft 2 may not be perfect but its not trash and your game count shows you don't think so either. In fact, most of the complaints I've heard from you have more to do with the company that made it than the game itself. You're basically flaming us because we have separated Activision Blizzard and StarCraft 2 from our minds.
Oh well, you're weren't unanimiously dubbed the ferrous craneous for nothing so I'll save my fingers anymore use on you.
Rest In Peace, Old Friend.
