As many have stated before, strassman does sounds much younger (minor detail that can be fixed)

Still she doesn't has the "irony" in Kerrigan's (Glynis Talken's voice). Rather a strugle to make it out. When kerrigan spak you knew she was bluffing so hard and that she just did it to show her enemies they had no choise or even sinking her enemies into a deep humilitation after defeting them.

When looking at this comparison (though its early) you can see that Glynis Kerrigan sounds sure of itself and overuling, while the strassman kerrigan sounds more femenin (sound like soulscalibur to me) and hear at the word "I" sounds more like selfish.

You all know how Blizzard like's surprises and easter eggs. It's entirely possible they've planned to reprieve her voice all along, and that all of this is an elaborate ruse to mislead people about the direction they're taking. They've coordinated efforts with Glynnis about her official statement on returning, and even crafted an audio track of Kerrigan for Karen to mislead others and give them the impression she's been chosen for Kerrigan (when instead she's doing a few other voices in the game).

This wouldn't be surprising now, especially after so many people have expressed their interest in Glynnis as the voice actor. Wouldn't it be great if we were all pleasantly surprised on release day when her voice magically surfaces in the campaign?

Agree will all bout strassman, doesn't have that Kerrigan attitude feel. But she could latter make more improvements for Kerrigan for her as a reasonable replacement for the new Queen of Blades. From what I see on wikipedia Strassman has more experience in voice roles than Glynnis done.

I'm not going get mad over this, too tried of to complain about blizzard new changes. Tho I didn't mind her acting for Kallen in Code Geass.

I'm not entirely sure where this clip originated from or how long ago, but if she hadn't done much of the Kerrigan acting prior to this clip then it's going to be much different when SC2 is released.

Think of what it will be like after she's had a chance to become the character, be directed properly, and the final voice editing done. Though even I get devoted to original voice acting (example, I remember seeing the smurfs in french once and was horrified that pappa smurf sounding NOTHING like his english counter-part lol) I have a feeling Strassman is going to make an awesome Queen of Blades.

Glynnis sounded bored and unemotional, and honestly in comparison I would much rather listen to someone with emotion when they speak, such as Karen Strassman, compared to someone like a female version of Ben Stein.

How does she not show emotion? I don't see pointy ears on her. She just has a more mature voice. Karen makes her sound to young..reverse puberty, I guess that is how Zerg work. BUT... I will say she fits the new detailed Kerrigan a bit more.

However, I'll wait and listen to more..before I say I like or dislike her even if I poke at it with a stick.
