Playing random and being asked which race you drew.

Lol If they think you have an advantage playing random then I think that's just ignorance to how the game is played and probably only occurs in Bronze.

Eh, saying that there are no differences at all shows ignorance of how the game is played. There are both disadvantages & advantages to being random, by virtue of the fact that it's different than picking a race. For example, I don't wall off vs. terran or protoss, but I do vs. zerg. If I don't wall off vs a random zerg because I bet that he turned out one of the other 2 races, he can 6 pool me & do serious damage. I also lose a tiny bit of money by sending my scout 2 supply earlier. :P

I disagree. Clearly the 50 minerals the player loses by scouting earlier sets them at a severe disadvantage and even when the opponent has only gotten about 1/5 of the practice with whatever they're playing . Random needs to be nerfed.

Im playing toss and sometimes terran, back in sc:bw I was a toss/terran player too... Thing is that I dont like playing zerg, and although I wanna give them a shot as they are a vary awsome race, I really dislike their sounds and all the saliva and of the race, and dont really feel cool playing it :P So not playing random because I dont wanna get zerg pushed me to pick a single race, and thats alway been toss for me :P

Also, I'm sure he was banned for something else. I submitted enough replays with me cussing to report hackers during the early days to know that they don't actually do that.

If your opponents ask for your race tell em , i play random all the time and i do tell my race ,of course i don't play 1v1 that much , but when i do i just say it , cuz i eventually have to send a worker to scout and they are going to see it.
(remmember that in ladder games , you have to send your scout early cuz of the cheese that swarms on ladder games , so he will find out sooner your race)
