    Wait for it...

1a. Click the top right button while in the game.
    2a. You done.

If you are playing random and your opponent asks you for race. Say random, white or cacuasian. If he get pissed ignore him.

However if he says anything that is censored you can be a really pain in the ass and do this:

    1b. Take a SS.
    2b. After match report player
    3b. Send replay to Blizzard.
4b. Use the webform and report him or her on it as well.

Enjoy how the player gets banned and is forced to pay another $50 USD to play the game. (You win)

If he gets a new copy of the game and does the same, repeat steps 1b to 4b. You win again!
.... *blinks* Geno, I know you didn't read my post, but I am suddenly freaked out just a little bit.

Did I not know you were a twin or something?

And if they did I'd surely lie about it...
This...and then tell them your pool is almost done.

I have a little update for those who have said "just use the button on the top right." Guess what, all it says is random. I play random, and I had an opponent ask my race, so I had him/her check. Response was it just says random. I usually don't tell my race, but I did this time (Zerg) to thank him for "being a guinea pig." I even mentioned this discussion. He was cool about it and generally cool... until he beat me with a mass banshee attack. I had just threw down my spire. Lol. I did not get a random opponent to check myself, and will share that intel when I get it.

edit: If I were ever to use a non-starcraft race to play with the question, I would most likely say Andorian. Or "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

Update: got some 2v2s last night against some random opponents and confirmed the top right button does not reveal a random player's race.

Just don't say anything. Seriously it doesn't take much to scout. Most players in 1's send an early scout if you're random.

I have to admit, random players did sometimes get the heads up in a match. But that's been fixed, especially random (Terran) vs Terran . Since those cheese rushes have been nerfed out, I could really careless what race anyone is.

You'll find out soon enough + the game is not that rocks paper scissors at the beginning of the game. I find 5-9 minutes into the game, you can't really lose "just because of unit setup". When you factor in the gas resources for roaches and their extra cost , you should have just as much Zealots/Marines/etc in "$$$" value sense.
I mean there are exceptions (going mass reapers vs roaches) . But to get to that point in game where you have over 6+ Reapers, you should've scouted by then.

Lol If they think you have an advantage playing random then I think that's just ignorance to how the game is played and probably only occurs in Bronze. I bet Bronze players ony think about the fact that they don't immediately know what build order to use; however, they are most likely overlooking the fact that playing random is incedibly difficult considering you have to learn how to play all three races well.

I think you misunderstood... If I'm not mistaken, no one on this thread is suggesting you can see what race a random player is by clicking the top right, they are simply saying that you can tell the opponent to just check the top right in case they were not paying attention during the load screen.

Lol. No, I got that, I just understood both possibilities and checked on the more literal one (to me) for anyone else who might be tempted. And I was curious as I never paid attention to anything in that button but granting my ally control in team games. If this meaning came across in jest and I partly missed the sarcasm behind it, so be it. I'm a Mr. Helpful anyway, needed or not. Lol.
