SC/BW Briefings, .wav Files

[Visions of Khas]

I was curious if anyone might have a file on hand of all in-game quotes -- eg wav.s from briefings and Hero quotes in-game -- or if there is some simple utility I might be able to use to extract these myself from StarCraft vanilla and BroodWar.

It extracts the unit quotes, certainly, but I can't find the files for the briefings, which is what I'm really looking for.

I don't know how to do it, but I do have every single campaign quote from SC and BW (even excluded campaign quotes that were not in the game).

I got a friend to extract it all for me. If there's a way to upload it I'll upload it for you.

Download winmpq and open the setup file on your StarCraft CD. For winmpq to display stuff correctly you need the listfile, which I'll attach for you here (you then have to import it into winmpq options->file lists).

I'm already 85% done uploading the rar file to megaupload, I think it'll probably be more convenient for you to just DL it afterwards.

WinMPQ apparently fails to start because "VB40032.DLL" is missing... even after uninstalling and re-installing the thing. -_-

For anyone else who might want to try WinMPQ: you have to download the VB runtime files. Or alternatively, download "VB40032.DLL" off the internet & put it in the winmpq folder.
