Hello all!

My name is Ivan I'm a huge bug lover, and obviously, a Zerg fan! I've been following StarCraft since 1999 (damn I'm old), other games that I love include Half-Life (I must admit that my love for it is eternal, more than even for SC ), AvP 2, Pokemon and more, I'm also a big fan of monster movies as well as creatures from mythology.

I've also taken on the task of documenting all fictional insectoids or other arthropodal creatures in all media as well as mythology and religion, you can check the facebook page in my sig.

I'm still fairly new to StarCraft. I was introduced it to my friends in high school back in around 2008. Although the game was pretty dated, I still loved it because it was the first game I played that allowed me to control many units at once. I also loved the story of StarCraft and found it became one of the best stories I ever experienced in gaming.

Then StarCraft 2 came out and... I loved it.

Yes, I know that's hard to believe but remember I was still in high school at that time so my brain hadn't fully developed back then. I loved the story of StarCraft 2 and thought it was a fitting sequel to Brood War.

Then one day when I was on Team Liquid, I saw Gradius post his review of the WoL story in a thread. I think some people were criticising Gradius' review but as for me, it opened my eyes. I couldn't believe the story had so many flaws and I didn't even notice. I began to lurk StarCraft Legacy from then on. By the time HotS was released my brain I had read enough of Gradius' posts to realise that StarCraft 2's story was extremely flawed. I was throughly disappointed with HotS so I kind of left StarCraft aside and focused on other games like BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us.

But LotV's trailer has gotten me excited so I've decided to finally register here as a member. One thing that really ruined WoL and HotS for me was the Raynor-Kerrigan romance (I'm not a fan of romance) so since it's out of the way, the story can now probably be more fitting to my taste.

Hi there! I am fairly new-ish th the world of Starcraft, but got addicted when I started playing it, and ended up buying all the games, as well as the books, comics and related stuff. I now play it a lot and really love the game. My favourite race is Protoss although the Terrans can be pretty cool at times as well.
