Enough is enough.

You just cannot keep people hyped that long (I'm anxious to play SC2 since 2007 blizzcon videos) - I'll just play other stuff and look back at it when I see it has been launched.

even more messed up is that if you think about it, the only reason they were up front about it and told us anything is because they had to keep investors updated and let them know what was going on. if it wasn't for the shareholders, we would still be in the dark.

I think that this was more a strategic move for the company as a whole, rather than just Blizzard's decision. I am sure bnet is almost done; it's just being delayed for Q4 2009 financial results to match their outlook. Once in 2010, the company will have more leeway and may speed up the development process to completion within a couple of months and surprise us all with an early early 2010 release.

Shareholders can be damn demanding to a company. I don't blame Activ-Blizz, but rather the shareholders' demands. Remember that Activ-Blizzard are releasing more than just SC2 in 2009/2010. SC2 needs to be complete to make the impact the original one did. Let us wait and see on this one.

I was angry at the news at first, don't you doubt that! But, I see their point of view after reading their Accounting "Notes to financial statements".

Considering the beta isnt even out yet, this isnt a surprise although i dont like to wait any longer for a game thats been delayed...oh...say...3 times?

I wouldnt be surprised if they delayed to 2011 = =...

Not to add to the negative tone, but what do you think the chances are we are still waiting one year from now? I'd say about 15%.

I'll forgive them for the delay if they start releasing more game-play footage

Another delay. Can't say I'm surprised. Now we wait for WoL's pre-sequel stories in in Frontline 4 and Heaven's Devils.

Guys, this is the first delay. They have not delayed the game before this.

The only concrete date they gave us before 'release by the end of 2009!' was 'beta by the end of 2009 unless something crazy happens!'.
