Default Activision is really evil! (sarcasm)

Just saw this article on IGN.com and I thought it'd be a good idea to post it here considering that so many see Activision as the anti-Christ on our forum. Not that it is an awesome article (it's still IGN after all) but I enjoyed the humor and some people here needs to chill out.

    basically:

If everyone only bought the great games, then fewer crappy games would be made. If you don't want annualized sequels, don't buy them.
gamers made the company what it is today.

Frankly, I find it insulting when people defend Activision or even tell others to 'chill out' after voicing their disdain for the company. They truly are scum.

Yeah, I'm not saying they're perfect but compared to Pfizer, they're a joke. Hell, they're a joke compared to any pharmacological company out there. During the incident with the Vioxx(painkiller that ended up causing really adverse side effects), Merck was actually considering leaving the drugs on the market and face the lawsuits instead of taking back the product out of the shelves(what they ended up doing thankfully). If it would have been more profitable to do so, I have no doubt that they would have taken the morally wrong route though. This just shows how much companies that produce goods that we need can be dangerous.

Anyways, about the Jason West and Vince Zampella incident, as the IGN article states, it was their fault for plotting against Activision assuming that this is true. In any case, those guys are a joke. So they start by making Medal of Honor then quit EA. Then they join Activision, make Call of Duty and get fired from Activision. Then they join EA again!

As for the TL articles, well it's TL... I can't see how this can be more biased than that... Just take a look at this:

additional protection with the Blizzard Authenticator, so you’ll be safer against hackers for 6.50$ instead of for free
Sorry but if you have a cell phone or anything that can support the app, you can have the service for free. Of course you'll have to pay for the key-chains... What did you expect?

    or here:

One can see actual changes in the corporate policy relatively early, Activision Blizzard drops titles like Brütal Legend, Ghostbusters, Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, WET and a few others, because they do not fit the new business model
Did those products sold well? Nope! There's nothing wrong with focusing on products that actually sells well.

This is a joke right? They expected it to be free? ...

This kind of sillyness just makes the accusations against Activision look dumb also.
