Those of you who've been able to play SCII already, has Blizzard brought back many of the same voice actors? Is the Marine still the Marine? SCV? Ghost? BC? Zealot?
This is very important.

Blizzard said at some point (I think BlizzCon 2008) that only half the units will sound about the same.
The marine sounds very different. It's not a big deal if some of the units sound different, but I hope the ghost sounds the same.

I don't mind different voice actors, as long as the quotes are badass and the acting is superb.

The units dont need to be duplicates, but should still sound badass. Last time I heard the Zealot I wasn't too thrilled (it sounded good, but the lines were meh). The marine sounded pretty good to me, nice to hear "you want a piece of me boy?" again, and the newer "armed and ready" in the Blizzcon 08 vids. Do voices change during the beta?

They're not done with all the sound work. Art is always being changed, so why not sound too?

Because voice acting is expensive. Once they've decided what the unit is supposed to sound like, they're unlikely to change it.
And the Zealot actor was a Blizzard employee who left the company several years ago, so he's unlikely to come back. Marine actor is the same, Ghost actor is the same too.
Dunno about Battlecruiser (hope they change this one completely with the new portrait) or SCV.

I actually loved the new Zealot lines. "We are the Blades of Aiur!" "Combat is the anvil of will!" They re-inforce the fact that spirituality plays a great role in the Protoss military mindset, much like Samurai.
Even though "None can withstand a Templar!" has a slightly comical ring to it, as if all Templar have such annoying personalities that "none can withstand" their company, and they're proud of it too...![]()

How do you know?Marine actor is the same, Ghost actor is the same too.
From what I've heard of the marine, he sounds completely different (and his death voice sounds hollow and crappy), and I've never actually heard the Ghost.
