    Default Hated SC II units?

I just needed to share this with you all and see if any of you have similar thoughts.

Please write down SC II units, from what you have seen so far in movies or pictures, that you strongly dislike or even hate and for what reasons.

I understand - it's not right to ask that kind of question in these pre-beta days, but it could be interesting to compare present critics, and critics some of you will share AFTER playing beta.

(also: if this discussion was done in any previus thread (i found none!), send me link then close this one; I apologise in advance)

I personaly can't stand changelings, can't see them as a part of the zerg swarm an any basis: how come a unit can change its own fleshy form (considering substance can't change) into marine metal plate or zealot armor/body? I know they evolve fast, but this is totaly absurd! It's understandable for warcraft universe where magic is "Deus ex machina", but here you need to be some kind of "alpha supreme" or partialy-divine being (like Xel'Naga or high templar mystic) to truly understand metaphysics/deeper reality and after that -manipulate it. There is simply NO WAY any of the zerg unit can do that. This (above all things) breaks my suspension of disbelief and I absolutley hate it.
Why do they need to make spy as C&C: Red Alert have? Beside the fact it's not an original idea, here - in SC universe, changelings are utterly illogical.
(maybe they removed them so far, anybody got info?)

Helion - second one. Strongly dislike everything about them (model, movement, attack animation, portrait, unit as substitute for firebat/vulture).
They just suck IMO. That's it. But not as much as changelings.

    Sorry for bad english.

I feel much protoss hatred today. Actually I think they're the coolest race right now, but they have a unit and a structure, the former of which makes me see red:

    Phoenix:

The void ray is not a raider, seeing how it's not fast and can't kill weak units efficiently. But that's okay. The phoenix is there to fill that ro... wait. It can't efficiently kill small ground units, it can't pick up massive units, it can't even deal a single point of damage to a building. It's basically a corsair without splash and with a different (and wimpier) special ability. You only use it on a few high-value targets like siege tanks and high templar. A valuable use, but not making up for completely removing its ground attack.

    Obelisk:

Needs something to compete with Proton Charge, preferably with a little brainpower required. At present, the obelisks you put inside your base are used for one thing and one thing only. I can picture gamers using a hack to keep spamming PC while giving them the time to do actual fun stuff.

There's a bunch of units, like the ghost or mothership, that have a few abilities I don't like, but I think those two are the only ones I'm actively feeling hatred for.

It's more fun when you say why, over and over again. This is to relieve boredom, and a repeat discussion is more fun than saying nothing at all.

The Thor, a 400 hit point behemoth AA unit? This guy looks like he could destroy an entire base by himself, yet is dedicated to bringing down fliers? Are you kidding me?

Hate is too strong a word for me... I'm generally content with Terran and Protoss. (Zerg is still looking like a dull race but I don't play them anyways.) Depending on how mobile the Thor and Mothership are when the game goes gold... big + slow = no fun.

Carrier. It was crap in SC1, and seeing as it is essentially unchanged in SC2, It's going to be crap there too.

The Thor. It just seems so, so horribly out of place.

I'll do one for each race.

    Terrans:
Thor - Yet another cliche two-legged mech which is a boring evolution of the Goliath. It offers nothing exciting to the gameplay and appears slow and cumbersome. Plus its gargantuan size is a blemish on the screen.

    Protoss:
Carrier - As time goes on I'm less and less impressed with this unit and wish they could give it some evolution or new tactic. Aesthetically I'm fond of it, but the Interceptors are less than desirable.

    Zerg:
Infestor - I like the fact that it can move underground, but its abilities are unimaginative and sound boring. Spawning infested terrans is just weak, neural infestation is a gimped version of mind control, and I forget what its third ability is because this thing changes daily but I wasn't impressed with it. Wish they could come up with something cool and freaky for this unit. However, I do think this is one of the sexiest looking Zerg units.
