Well, I'm done arguing about it. Apparently I'm doing an absolutely atrocious job explaining what I mean because you haven't grasped any of the points I've made yet.
Cheers.

Yeah, 1:1 seems like it could be too strong. But it does seem like feedback could be quite useful and provide competition for psi storm.
Still wouldn't be that useful if their stats suck so much they die really quickly. Might as well just produce an army of zerglings or roaches in the amount of time it takes you to sit in your base...
When I say activated I mean like you have to do something other than click the button and it just turns on and follows the unit around. It's an "activated" aura but it's not an ability in the same...
I'm still expecting them to add the Lurker back in, or some other unit. The Zerg feel like they don't have enough units (to me anyway). I think they took the Lurker out to tweak it until they felt...
Yeah. I'm cool with keeping the building corrupt thing on the corrupter; it just needs some tweaking. Spawn Infested Terrans does seem like a good ability in theory it just needs some changes to...
thanks for proving that it's a potentially useful ability and thus a worthy competition spell for psi storm
From what I've seen and heard, the main issues are ones of balance; the only other ones have to do with lackluster sound effects. I haven't heard of any game breaking bugs or crash issues. Of...
How quickly can you cast multiple infested terrans? How feasible would it be to cast say 8 or 9 infested terrans all at once with a group of infesters? If it were possible to create a "flash army"...
Well, hopefully when I get to play the game I'll feel this way as well.
I just see in replays that a lot of games seem to have a similar early dynamic because of ramp walling / fighting and what...
Kinda what I was thinking.
Blizzard will be doing the balancing, though, and if they balance the game around Lost Temple-esque maps, then it will be unbalanced on different maps.
That's fine, and I'm hoping that's the case.
But I also hope they don't balance the game around one kind of map, because then we'll be forced to play on a particular kind of map for there to be...
The placement of the PF was less than ideal, as others have mentioned.
With some tweaking this strategy could catch some lesser players unaware, that's for sure.
That's a fair point.
Like Nottoway said, though, it doesn't have to be lowered ground, but even ground. The point is that it seems very artificial to me that every map follows a similar formula...
That's a fair point. Still, I'd like to see Guardian Aura be changed to be an activated ability that requires a bit more involvement on the player's part - not just doing what they can to keep the...
Your beta key won't come until you stop checking religiously and pining after it. So stop asking. :)
Hah! Now all of you Beta people can feel the sting of not being able to play...for a little bit anyway.
:)
I've noticed that all of the maps (unless I'm mistaken) have each player starting on raised ground with one ramp going down (and in a couple instances one other entrance blocked by rocks). Most of...
Perhaps it wasn't originally intended, but this "bug in the game engine" made Vultures far more effective than they would have otherwise been, especially in the hands of a skilled player.
I would...
It's uninteresting because you don't have to place it, you don't have to micro it, you don't have to have any skill at all to use it. Just press a button and turn it on. There is some trade off...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is my understanding:
Some units can't be microed the way they could in the original SC. For instance, in SC you could hit and run very effectively with Vultures...
My mistake; I said Maelstrom, I meant Dark Swarm. Guardian Aura protects against ranged attacks kind of like that.
Guardian Aura may be very useful, but I think it's uninteresting because it's...
Beta is still very small so I'm guessing the difference between divisions won't be very large right now.
Once the game comes out though, there will probably be a very large difference.
"I can make a ****ing magic staff but I can't make a beta key?!"
