1 ling is much much cheaper than an overlord, and this forces a terran to waste 250+ minerals on a scan or time+100 minerals on a turret.

I've been getting 2-5 points per win for a longgggg time in plat, but just today I got 60 points between two wins :D finally felt like a good game today =]

The sad thing is the protoss could have just continued mining as normal and put a stalker or two in his mineral line to fight off marines. The PF couldn't reach his whole base.

In the original Starcraft it was actually a net mineral LOSS because of the way building cancellation was refunded. Go look at any current pro reps and you won't see zergs doing any extractor tricks....

The real idra has a full id of Idra.Media. He doesn't seem that great at the moment though he's like 50-30 IIRC :P

They also have to have the maps.

Although I don't think pro is currently available in beta, or no one has gotten into it. David Kim was like 95-5 in Division 4 platinum last I knew. I played him once and things got ugly pretty fast...

I saw nony using FF earlier, so hallucination is the one in question if they have 3.

In addition to the forcefield they have some sort of "guardian shield" that gives units in an aoe an armor boost.

ZvZ definitely looks like all-out roach battles at the moment after a first wave of lings.

He was probably watching the 1up stream, which is definitely newbs :) I still enjoyed listening to the music though!
