So what seems to be understood out of this ending is that A) the overall storyarch of the protoss fighting the dark voice has nothing to do with Kerrigan's focus in HotS just as it didn't for Raynor in WoL and B) that once again we get an inconsistent story told to us.

Bam, I feel like wanting to play Empire Earth, YES EMPIRE FRIGGIN' EARTH, instead of the HotS campaign...

I've decided to make a cavalcade of the StarTrek movies instead. Since I'm a Star Wars guy, I never saw any of the series or films, but since I can't just see Star Wars stuff everytime I want to see some SCI-FI, and I can't play StarCraft2 for sure, I thought what the heck. And I'm somewhat positively suprised, even though I could use less "inner struggle" and more pew, pew...

Anyway, it's a shame this is rated T for teen. I would have thoroughly enjoyed watching Mengsk's head pop off just as I thoroughly enjoyed the gore in The Amerigo (marine head exploding eyeball flying out, you see nothing but a skull but for some reason he's still alive enough to gag).

I didn't know slicing someone's head off, makes the effect of a flashbang grenade...

Or maybe they didn't include the part of the cinematic where the "white blood" coming out of Mengsk is due to him being an android just as in Alien, where most of SC1 was stolen anyway...

Which makes me note that Metzen should just have kept stealing from Aliens rather than all that other crap that's been introduced in the SCI-FI universe in the meantime.

I refuse to believe that is the actual ending. I want to go back to the days where you could actually feel the righteousness behind the characters and what they said and did rather than just be and face cheesy stereotypes

Since when has something related to a Blizzard game EVER been leaked without their knowledge or authorization? The company is so strict with their NDA's and is quick to chase after anybody who breaks the rules. Somehow I highly doubt some random video company would get away with leaking a storyboard for a future Blizzard game, knowing full well what the ramifications would be of such an act.

I respectfully request you consider the timeline this came out in. Apparently it's been hovering the net for 3 months. SC2 has only been out for ~5 months. The models for the characters which are impossibly close to the models in WoL, indicating pre-used content.

Its possible a group of "fans" made this, with high production values and accurate models and voices... but it seems unlikely to me. This is 100% legit footage. Whether it will be used in the final game is uncertain.

Perhaps it was an outtake which was at some point planned for WoL? The fact that it was removed so quickly from Vimeo and the forums does make for a curious circumstance, as that's something Blizz would likely do.

You mean you 100% believe it's somehow affiliated with Blizzard. I see no proof yet. Because it happens to be created in the past with similarities to characters we've seen videos of at that time, that doesn't give it any certainty.

The whole community is going nuts over this. And yet there's no proof it's even affiliated with Blizzard.

A company that has affiliations with Blizzard and the potential to do future work with them would be foolish to post this without their consent. They'd be ostracized and lose out on potential future business. That's why I don't believe it's authentic.

This video has been out on the Internet for 3 months and hasn't been noticed until now?!? You mean to tell me in all that time, with the entire community Googling "Starcraft 2 Kerrigan" this video is only now being discovered?

It was stated this video was created well before now, but is it possible it only recently surfaced on the web and was artificially given a release date of 5 months in the past? Kinda hard to verify that now with the video being removed. I just find it hard to believe that not only would this company jeopardize themselves despite any NDA's, and nobody has found the video until now.

There is no possible way anyone but Blizzard could have made this video with this quality in this time frame. IT IS BLIZZARD'S WORK. Yes, its a bit strange no one found it until now, but that's not unheard of. Boxxy was first posted 1 year before she nearly crashed 4Chan.

Hmm interesting, just watched it. I'd say it's legit. They used Metzen's voice for Raynor since it's not finished yet. Whoever leaked this has my praise.
