[Spoilers] What the heck is this Kerrigan video all about????

If this video is a real leak... All my respect for Blizz went down the drain. Which could be good, since I now don't have to waste money on CEs and bite my nails waiting for new installments for SC...

T'was some fine 12 years. Way to ruin them Blizz...

It's not Blizzard's fault. This was made by an outside company, doing previz for various games and movies. It was released 3 months ago ( and only discovered today )by brianweaver.com - who hadn't bothered to check if this was in WoL or not.

Well I for one did not enjoy this crap!

Raynor letting Kerrigan go with the entire Zerg swarm after making some kind of deal with her (once again)? Wtf is wrong with that idiot. Didn't he learned his lesson in Brood war? Yeah sure, Kerrigan "wasn't herself" or whatever but still... Zergs are physiologically made to kill, what else can you expect out of them. Please, Blizzard, I know you guys suck at writing stuff now but make an effort for christ sake.

Typical. I go out for wings and 3$ highballs, and come back to missing all the action and 5 broken links.

Another uploaded video which was taken off is the New Gettysburg early rendition which was almost identical to the real deal with some extra footage and changes. They ended up using it basically, so who is to say they haven't used this one?

So now we see that a 3rd party does video work for Blizz? HA!

As for the cinematic, I'd say I was 50-50, as:

Arcturus with the device...bit corny.

Kerrigan killing Arcturus...satisfying. It was what I'd predicted for quite awhile.

Leave humanity to its fate...um, what? I mean, obviously we're missing a lot here, but if it means what I think it does, with the Dark Voice...well, she may not be the Queen Bitch of the Universe, but she's still a bitch.

The zerg leaving, which I suspect might be influenced by BGS and the centurions (think Metzen is a fan) isn't an issue. I kind of like it, the idea of the zerg going free...yes, they've brought death, but only because of directives (e.g. the Overmind) or the lingering effects of said directives (aftermath of Tassadar's sacrifice). It also prevents a team-up for LotV seemingly, which is good IMO.

It sucks if it's the real ending. I doubt it is.

If they basically had some, if not all of the cutscenes written out by the time WOL was released, whom are we kidding to think that any number of posts, threads, complaints, logical analysis by people like FanaticTemplar and Wasted or thorough articles of Gradius about retconning are ever going to affect them?

It seems like our efforts are as vane as those of dreamy children....

Man, I hate the ending. In fact, I hate every tiny sliver of plot in this cinematic. But Kerrigan killing Mengsk... can't wait to see that fully rendered.

Also, it just got taken down.

I'm a little confused. Why did Mengsk try to have Tychus kill off Kerrigan if he had a device implanted to kill her just in case...?

And yeah, the viking part was cool.

Proximity. Chip only worked at a certain distance, I'm sure. Korhal isn't exactly near Char.

For the same reason why he didn't stop Tychus from taking the Odin and killing everyone even though he could have killed him at any time: bad writing!

I took it the reason he didn't stop Tychus from taking the Odin was because he wanted Tychus to get close enough to Kerrigan to kill her once and for all. So he had to send hundreds of people to their deaths so Raynor wouldn't suspect anything.

What? It's better than Blizzard's explanation.

Good point. Having the chip implanted is probably foreshadowed during the campaign while they explore Kerrigan's past more in depth; it's just a little out of place to me since I don't know the context of what's happening.

Hopefully this means we'll see another flashback of Kerrigan similar to the New Gettysburg flashback. :D

If that's really the ending, I like it.

Also, saying this 'supports' my claim that Kerrigan wasn't fully uninfested doesn't even come close to it.

this looks like early stages of making a damn cinematic, yet if this be the end of HotS than Blizzard finally did what they supposed to do
