Basic requirement of a statement/notice: the Source.
The lack of such sacred proof, deforms the thread into a troll nest.

Lies!, Lies and Slander..all of it.
I say keep your pants on till Blizzcon.
If beta comes out tomorrow I will chop off my fingers and send them to you in the mail.Quote:
get ready for beta tomorrow guys
If not, I'll just shrug and go, "another one bites the dust."
I won't, it will be my punishment for continually disregarding people who keep claiming beta at ever corner.Quote:
How will you play Starcraft 2 for the rest of your life thereafter?
However, I have a feeling I won't be chopping off my fingers.
Er... I wouldn't be so sure, man.
It's this month or next.
...not that I put any faith in baseless rumours mind you. Just saying, he's got a 1/35 or so chance of being right.
I doubt they'll wait specifically for Blizzcon when they are ready. I mean it's a cute idea, but it doesn't really serve a whole lot of practical purpose. The beta doesn't need a demonstration. Just 'here's the site where you download the client', 'here's the site where you input your key'. Boom everyone who's got a key is playing.Quote:

I honestly doubt however, that Blizzard will just put up Beta without any sort of general announcement.
Who honestly thinks that beta is just going to one day pop up and wait for people to check?
I'm pretty sure Blizz would at least say "Hey, we're releasing beta tomorrow. Be sure to check it out!"
Why would they do that...? What's the difference between saying 'it's coming out tomorrow!' and 'it's coming out today!'?
They've never pre-announced a beta announcement like that in the past (as far as I know). There's no point to. The closest thing is opening up opt-ins, which they did months ago.
Hell, it could be an announcement for the specific date of the imminent beta.
(Please note that I am just playing Devil's advocate.)
Usually what precedes a Beta is people getting emails, and news of the beta popping in from all directions (not just from Blazur)
Usually the download servers aren't even up as people get their keys,
Atleast we dont have to wait like 2 weeks to find out, whats another hour?
At 12:30 he said it would break in 1.5 hours - meaning it should have just broken.
So this happens right now
Well I don't see anything out of the ordinary...
Well, I assume its 12:11 in California time by now. Whatever, I find out in the morning.
Why wouldn't they? Believe what you want, I think it's a bit stupid just to release beta out of the blue, and if you think they're going to do that good for you.Quote:

I lied :<
The beta isn't going to launch at midnight. It will be sometime during the day.
...I'm getting tired of this.Quote:

At least Blazur was sort of clever in his blatant attempts to confound people. =(
Well, no ones going to belive what you say from now on hegemon... well done.
Hegemon54 is a little rat.
He's always going on about beta stuff, just do a search on his name.
He was raging about staff withholding information about beta from the press conference or something like that.
The best part of waking up, is SC2 Beta is your cup.
Sure is speculation in here.
