The Koreans saying that StarCraft 2 is better than StarCraft?
Oh God, help me! The room is spiiiinnniinnngg!!!
Re: Reserch from 100 people that played SC2 in Korea
Can't wait to see what the luddites say about that :)
Re: Reserch from 100 people that played SC2 in Korea
It is rather intresting to see how most say it is better then SC1. It's a little uplifting and inspiring. :P
Re: Reserch from 100 people that played SC2 in Korea
I've always firmly kept things in perspective enough to not doubt I'd love it more than SC1. Waiting for so long can easily make a person doubt and despair. Also seeing something stable be moved into the unstable (SC2 will not be masterfully balanced within the first few patches, just like SC1) can make people doubt or despair. When you look at it with those facts in the forefront of your mind.. it's easier to hold onto your optomism. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of you were actually surprised to see that many Koreans say SC2 is better. That's not logic speaking, but your emotions :) Can't blame ya for being discouraged.
Sometimes I feel that people spend so much time focusing on the developing metagame.. that they forgot the simplest fact: Games can be fun.
Re: Reserch from 100 people that played SC2 in Korea
Well, the fact that SC2 has updated UI elements and a lot of features pulled from War3, I'd consider it to be superior to the 11yr old classic, from a first impression perspective. The poll wasn't given to people who had extensive time with the balance or depth of the game.
Re: Reserch from 100 people that played SC2 in Korea
StarCraft 2 will only get much better from this point on.

almost 33% for each protoss, terran and zerg! with a slight increase for terran that I think is due to them being the first ones to be released

I'm curious about what the win percentages are. If race use was pretty even, than the win percentages should accurately reflect the current balance.
