Undocumented changes 1.2.0 PTR
- Air units now turn way faster and bank much more. Overall air units are far more responsive and more microable than in 1.1.3
-- Units most affected by this: Corruptor (now can be easily microed to shoot and scoot) banshee (feels much easier to shoot and scoot) Muta (same) Carrier / broodlord / battlecruiser now feel much more responsive and lighter.
- New art for burrow icon
- New art for Roach burrow and movement (now looks similar to Infestor)
- Blink animation changed, now doesn't leave a ghost, the stalker simply blinks
Also, a lot of the units seem to have their turn rates tweaked to make them feel a bit more microable and lighter. I've only tried out air units but stalker even feels a bit lighter (turn rate probably upped a bit)
Lots of tiny movement tweaks I guess.

such subtle changes are so easy to just "imagine" ...

You can no longer block an oponnent's ramp with 2 pylons. You need 3.

Meh, I've tested it out. Turning is instant for air units if you click close to the air unit. So overall there's a lot of small tuning. Compared to 1.1.3 it's pretty obvious just fire it up.

Woah. Seriously?? It's been verified on multiple maps?? What about using two bunkers to block a ramp??

Two bunkers can still block, but 2 pylons can not.

i cant fire it up the test is NA only.
also, i havnt read any other mention of air unit behavior being different, and in my epxereicne, everything is rather responsive even as is, so i doubt it would be all that obvious.
i mean no disrespect :) sounds awesome that corrupters would move better etc..

It doesnt really feel like they changed the turning, I think they adjusted the deceleration (which is why it feels like they turn faster when you click near and not far).

Yeah the air units definitely respond WAY faster. I've been able to kite with corruptors like crazy now. Much more responsive. Air units definitely bank WAY more. Just a single turn and I got my battlecruiser to do a 90 degree bank (indicating a faster turn rate?)
