Legacy Observer - Replay analysis thread
Replay analysis will happen on Wednesday evenings at 9pm.
I will be reviewing replays and giving my thoughts on them for an episode of Legacy Observer. They can be completely noob games or incredible games to watch. If I choose it, I will highlight it and commentate it in some form. Which form is dependant on the game and your wishes.
If you post a game, please state the following:
Quote:
Racial Matchup:
Requested Analysis Style: (Feedback, Entertainment)
Notes:
Any attached games that don't follow this format will not be considered. (Hell, it's easy as hell)
Re: Legacy Observer - Replay analysis thread
Racial Matchup: TvZ
Requested Analysis Style: Entertainment
Notes: Decided to try out rines and unsieged tanks vs roach build that I knew it was coming, since me and Gabbek we practice a lot, and I usually go for early aggression with marines, and he responses with roaches. This game was not that case though, just decided to go marines and tanks :D
Racial Matchup: TvT
Requested Analysis Style: Entertainment
Notes: My worst match up so far, and especially against Soup, who proved several times that his TvT with air control is impossible to beat in later game, at least for me, so time to time I decide to go for an early attack hoping that it will make wonders. I was bit surprised that I managed to pull it off, especially since I didn't stim for some reason and my macro was slipping away :D
Both games are practice games that we play time to time.
About me: Lower diamond player that haven't laddered for a long time and sticking to custom 1v1's with practice partners. Only good in the early part of the game after what my macro starts to fall behind.
Hope you will find these replays good and entertaining :)

Zabi: ANY replays that you seek either advice on, or if you feel is worth me making fun of in some case. If it's a fantastic game, I'll actually commend it instead of make fun of it. This will be part of the wednesday edition of LegObs.

Lol, I expect something like "omg, and this guy runs a LFC and SCL EUQ tournament", after watching my macro slip away in both games :D
Too bad I won't be able to watch it >.>
Re: Legacy Observer - Replay analysis thread
To change this up a bit, I decided to post a couple games that I lost. Sure I can show some of my winning games to make my epeen grow, but eh, I have other avenues to make my epeen grow.
Racial Matchup: PvZ Attachment 1584
Requested Analysis Style: Entertainment
Notes: First match in a best of 3 for the NA Tournament against Xeonio. I had decided to try a build that I had seen earlier that day but had yet to practice. What transpired was a very long back and forth game.
Racial Matchup: ZvP Attachment 1583
Requested Analysis Style: Entertainment
Notes: I decided to double off race and play my worse race against a friend that is going to MLG Dallas (GL to you Rock!!). The game right before this was an absolute slaughter with me dying convincingly and having HORRIBLE macro. This game was much closer, and could have went either way.
Racial Matchup: TZPvPTP Attachment 1585
Requested Analysis Style: Entertainment
Notes: SkullzX, Rock, and I decided to do some random 3v3 for the fun of it. SkullzX started out with a failed cannon rush into dark templar; Rock started out with a fast lair and transitioned into losing his whole fucking base; and I proved that in team games all you need to do as Terran to win is memorize 3 hotkeys and then 1a to victory.
Even though I suggest entertainment style, if you find anything in my games that you would like to say, or teach others about then go ahead and do so. I am not above criticism, and humiliate myself enough on my own to not care if other people are trying to humiliate me. One thing I would like to suggest is that perhaps you should do as well on Wednesdays is reviewing some of your own replays as well. Since you stream alot of your games you may not have alot of entertaining ones that have not been seen, but you could easily use the games to improve yourself, and show others what they could be looking for and working towards when they are looking at their own replays.
The reason I suggest you do some of your own replays is that I have talked to a few people that are afraid of either A) playing live on a stream or B)having their replays on a stream. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I do think alot of the replays uploaded will be from just a few people that do not have the same fear of being streamed. It is your show tho bro, just putting in my two Zimbabwe Dollars.

Racial Matchup: PvT
Requested Analysis Style: Feedback, Entertainment
Notes: A game of myself vs. the player "Lentil" it was a intense game for me and I felt like my APM and resource management was shaky at best. Though I managed to win and ended up being pretty proud of myself. It's a game that a decent amount of action and I found fun to watch afterwards.
