Blizzcon 2010 Coverage - Ways to interact with the StarCraft: Legacy community.

Tomorrow the walls of the Anaheim Convention Center play host to one of the most exclusive gaming conventions in the world as the tickets sell out in less than a mere second. Featuring a plethora of game panels sprawling across the Diablo, WarCraft and StarCraft universes, gamers across the world seek to obtain any information they can and discuss with fellow gamers who share a likewise passion.

StarCraft: Legacy has staff at Blizzcon gathering information directly from the source. We also have staff online monitoring the convention and working to provide you coverage as it happens. We will provide this coverage in multiple ways which I'd like to share with you all today. So even if you didn't purchase the online Blizzcon stream, you can gain the information as it comes, discussing with fellow members of the StarCraft: Legacy community.

Join our IRC Channel

First, please join our IRC chatroom at Quakenet (Channel: #Sclegacy) so you can discuss with us and other people the panels as they happen.

Legacy Observer - Blizzcon Daily Wrap-up

Every night after Blizzcon closes it's doors, Gifted and possibly other members of the StarCraft: Legacy staff will provide a wrap-up of all the Day's StarCraft related news. Bringing highlights to the points that are worth highlighting and exploring any information that has come about.

You may easily confirm if it's live or not on our frontpage widget that shows if the Legacy Observer is live or not. A direct link to it may be found at our Legacy Observer Portal.

Don't worry, not all of our staff is able to make it, but that's ok cause a lot of our staff has a lot of work to do regarding the posting of the news. That's part of why we're doing this, so we can get our staff at home connected with the community to share in the JOYGASMS of information as it happens.

Last year I was able to transcribe the event as it happened.

FYI, to my knowledge on site staff are LordOfAscension, Crota, SaharaDrac, Zero.

BlizzCon? What? How could I have COMPLETELY forgotten about it :D It used to be an event I waited months ahead of time for.

Think that Blizzcon was extra exciting last year when we all waited for more info about Starcraft 2!:D

this year will be pure awesome too with all the sc2 tournaments that will be casted by day9 himself! ;D and the Heart of the swarm lore panel!:)

anyone can provide a stream of the original stream? That would be awesome!

Meh, I'm not getting my hopes up for the SP again. If its the masterpiece SC was, I'll enjoy it when it comes out but I won't hold my breath again.

The first two years of Diablo 2 was the most addicted to any non-IRL I've ever been.

Gifted I still really appreciate your coverage from last year when you weren't even on the SCL team, so I'm really looking forward to joining you and the rest of us on IRC again this year. I can't justify $50 for two days of streams when the information provided by SCL is just as good. However. If I didn't have to pay 2k to fly to the US I could easily justify the ticket for the experience. Looking forward to waking up at 4am for this :)
