They are still APM sinks, but at least they are far easier to balance.

IT'S ALIVE!!!x
Couldn't you've just waited until they actually released the info :p
Up until this point everyone has been so focused on the Obelisk. Anytime conversation turns to the OC or Queen people always interject "Obelisks worst fix that first". Well now is the chance to find out what people think of the OC/Queen before the Protoss mechanic steals the limelight again.
So what do people think? Are the OC and Queen good or do you just not like the macro mechanics period?

But seriously, you guys can continue the discussions. Just please keep it from turning into a flamefest or a personal attack. ;)
There is no "now". We know they're fixing it, but we don't know any sort of specifics.
And how do you do that without interfereing with this?

Also we have a bunch of macro mechanics in the game to encourage players to control their economy better, because as you know in Starcraft, economy is king. One of the things that we loved about the original Starcraft was not so much that we want you to click a bunch, but that there was a lot of tension between players who were micro-oriented and players who were economy-oriented. For instance, if you are playing Zerg and are micro-oriented and I'm playing Zerg and I'm economy-oriented, we're kind of playing two different races — not exactly, but a little bit. We're having a very different experience, and that style difference now becomes the interesting problem for both of us, and that is what we're really pursuing with a lot of this stuff.

We're at now now.
How do you seperate macro oriented players from micro players without a macro action that precludes micro?
