Re: Psi blades are all cool and all but....
There is, however, the fact of the Ghost already requiring its own separate building.
Barring that, I like this "Engineering Bay as Marauder requirement" idea very very much.

Attack the probes and just when the opposing army comes to clear you out....forcefield over all the minerals so he can't mine for 15secs. Run off. Don't know how effective you all think that would be though.
It would be easy to counter and too gas expensive to be really effective.
And about marauders:
Marauders will be fine just without stim. It doesn't make sense that a man who is wearing a major heavy armor can run faster just by using drugs. Sure, marines moving faster by using stim packs are a bit crazy (even with adrenalin running high, we are talking about HEAVY power suits, really heavy stuff there) , but even heavier infantry running soo fast is just moronic (check marauder's hp, they are way too buffed to run fast at all!).
Marauders are supposed to be heavy infantry able to deal with mechs and heavy units... but they shouldn’t be able to pwn almost all the infantry units at all. ^^; They MUST drop stims.
About psyblades:
They are cool enough, really. Zealots don't need early charge.
The game doesn't need add more prerequisites, just drop some bs like stiming marauders.
Re: Psi blades are all cool and all but....
and marauders can't even stim in the campaign

Then I could beat the best Terran in the world simply by sending a few Stalkers to his main in the beginning. Marines can go to his choke and attack his Marines (probably even out of their range) and have all Marines killed probably LONG before the Engineering Bay is done.
You need to start thinking about the consequences of the decision before you say its a good idea instead of just ...... doing whatever you're doing.

A few marines in a bunker at your choke should shut down any early stalker harass I'd think.

Good thing phazonjunkie quoted you as I'd have never seen your reply because I must remind you again, I have you blocked.
My rebuttle: if you're going to attack my ideas, the least you could do is read all my posts. You seem to have missed this important tidbit from me:

As you can see, it is you who need to pay better attention.
Re: Psi blades are all cool and all but....
i am always open to suggestions...
i find the engineering bay idea interesting, if a little too risky to try out...
hm... almost as if marauders shouldn't be ready before a factory has completed, that being a building all terran players eventually have to go for and it suits the mechanized bulk of a marauder...
but one thing, though...
why do marauders have concussives, again?

I suggested a unit long ago called the Epoch which used supercooled liquid hydrogen instead of fire to attack. It was meant to be a support unit for Marines, like the Firebat. The unit worked much like the Firebat doing damage to the exposed flesh of light units, but also slowed all enemy movement, freezing both biological joints and mechanical engines. This let Marines do more damage before the enemy got to them.
Not 2 months later Blizzard announced the Marauder. A support unit which slowed enemy units.
Coincidence? Maybe.

did you not think of the consequenses...?
...for terrans no less!?
but your suggestions would be a anti-light/biological that slows down armoured...? hm...
