I don't really think this logo is indicative of a beta coming soon. When we have more info on BNet 2.0, then we should have a better idea of when we'll see the beta.

August doesn't seem really close to you? Hell, I thought the summer beta was close in January :D

from what i gathered fromt he interviews and such, blizzard is ready to start beta, it's just bnet 2.0 isn't quite ready to be launched yet.

which doesn't make this any easier. cmon blizzard, just put all the work you need to into bnet, get Beta going and give us our damn game. if beta takes 4-6 months, there is no way we'll get it by the end of 2009 unless they start right now and really push through the post-Beta period.

I never understood how people could've been waiting for so long. I mean it's like implying SC1 is not good enough a game to keep you busy. O_o

I've been waiting for SC2 maybe for half a year or so, when I learned I might be getting a beta key.

You know, its going to be really depressing when after all of this waiting, only 1 out of every 10 people who signed up actually get to play it.

Chances are you will NOT be playing the beta when it comes out. And that is sad. :(
