IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
Well in a classic TvZ match, IdrA came in, probably favored to win with his new anti-terran style.
Game 1: Morrow comes out with a largely Reaper Micro strat, keeping IdrA on the early defense, IdrA defense is exposed to have a few holes, and is exposed by the reaper harass. Game goes down to MorroW.
Game 2: Morrow again comes out with reaper harass, only this time IdrA defends it very well, maintaining his army and counter pushing with banelings/roaches/speedlings. Morrow's wall is busted and has to succumb to IdrA's will. IdrA takes game 2.
Game 3: Morrow again coming out with early reaper harass, the defense of IdrA again holds, then it becomes a macro game, which is playing into IdrA's strength, BUT Morrow somehow comes up with the perfect composition of harassing medivac drops and a ground army that would not be denied and takes game 3 by force.
Game 4: Series now at 2-1 favoring Morrow, IdrA needing to pull this off in a big way to send it to the final game. Morrow shows an early rax+tech and 2 gas, favoring Reaper again, only this time hiding an early factory in the back of his base, adding on a reactor, and pumping out early marauders, IdrA sees 1 Hellion, but still decides to go into Banelings, much to his dismay, he is outplayed, and Morrow.....Wins the IEM finals.....
What a tournament, what a series. Kudos to all the great players, new and old.

did idra rage at the end?
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
No, in fact he seemed pretty calm. The announcer did make it well known there would be no "imbalance" argument though lol.

Actually, he was pretty pissed :p. At least, that was the impression I had when he gave such a clipped reply to the interviewer's question of whether or not Zerg players will develop a new style to counter the current Terran style :p.

Then that effectively denies IdrA of any comments :D
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
To be fair Idra’s defence in the second game was solid- that reaper play can be damn hard to deal with, especially with that many rax’s.
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
I think Morrow took advantage of the fact that the likes of Hydra FE. Reaper construction would be much less effective against Zerg-one basis.
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
haha, idra didnt get the girls at the end. ha ha ha . that dark haired one was imba.
and dimaga is such a great dude, he was honestly happy to win 3rd place, and idra was clearly pissed and was 5 mins away from bursting out imo.
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
Wait, girls as prizes? Whoa!
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]

I second that, I don't have enought time to watch all the matches and this reviews help me save time. I only watch good games lately and your posts helped me find those that are the best among the tournaments.
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
lots of awesome games in this tournament.
the setup to the finals was funny; razer branded girls with scarce clothing arm in arm with the players as they got presented. it looked quite awkward. i was watching it with my GF and we were like WTF ROFL LOL.
but yeah... great games.
also, Sweden is #1
Re: IEM Finals IdrA vs MorroW [spoiler review]
Lol thanks guys, I don't really pride myself in doing this, I was simply interested in learning more about how pro's play, seen that a lot of the SC:L community didn't watch as fast as I did, so I decided to post what I could describe.
Again thanks. I'll try and keep up with the tournaments and maintain the reviews.
