Zerg are OP in Korea? What?
I mean, I know they were topping the ladder in Beta, but afaik, now there are a lot more Terran players. Also, if I am not right, why is it so obvious?

According to what some people at TL claimed was what that spokesperson for Nada (?) said in German:
Quote:
The korean looking guy that was interviewed was "reis" he was organizing the SK Warcraft 3 squad if i remember correctly.
He told Dennis that Kespa only agreed to the showmatch if it wouldn't be streamed in Korea. Unfortunatley someone illegaly streamed the games on Afreeca (streaming site) and so Kespa pulled the plug.
Nada could have gotten in alot of problems if he continued to play (fines and so on) so he had to stop.
Quote:
"Korean guy talked to Nada, and apparently this showmatch was only supposed to be streamed to europe/us but it has been illegaly streamed to korea.
so there had been a call mid-game from korea that he had so stop playing and the whole thing was cut down by kespa"
@RamiZ, well, what can I say?
Sigh... Kespa.... damn you. Even if it was over... Damn you.
Pulling the plug early definitely sounds about right since that last game seemed to end rather abruptly.
EDIT: And NaDa has only been playing SC2 for about 10 days, and probably just in his free time as he does still play BW professionally too. Pretty scary that a korean BW player can take a game from TLO after such little experience. Really makes me look forward to the future of SC2 when it is officially big in Korea.
I'm staying on to watch Dimaga vs Morrow :p.
I saw some of Dimaga's earlier games in this tourney, and he's looking pretty good :).
Hope someone uploads this on YT, love to see it.
Kespa sure loves shooting itself in the foot.
People on TL are going crazy over Morrow very good-mannerly saying in the post-game interview that Reapers are overpowered :p.
But I have to admit, that did look really really harsh on Dimaga that last game. And Game 4 as well. I mean, opening with that many Reapers....you force so many Zerglings from Zerg that you shouldn't be able to get an expo up as well. I can't help but feel that that's a bit unfair...in game 5, Dimaga even got a fair amount of reprieve because Morrow was supply-blocked for a while, and Dimaga still didn't get enough Zerglings. =/
It's possible to hold off as Zerg, but it just requires sooo much precision. It's so easy to die if you miscalculate even slightly, which is what I think Dimaga did >_<.
It's still a relatively new build though, and I think that the key will be getting Roaches instead of teching to Muta. The problem is that you need quite a few Roaches and Roach speed to make it work because unless they're in large numbers, Reapers can actually threaten Roaches with their superior speed and dancing.
I laughed at Morrow EMPing those Banelings though XD. I wonder what he was thinking - the expression on his face when he realised what he did was priceless!
.
Gah makes me want to watch these games asap!
Anyone got a link?
I can totally imagine a terran player EMPing banelings, they're the kind of thing you just want to throw anything at haha.
"imagines marines throwing their rifles at the banelings when they get too close".
