You want StarCraft 2 now? Blame WoW for delay

WoW is a cash making machine. I think all of that cash helps Blizzard take all the time and resources they need to make SC2 as great as it can be.

Can't we all be one big happy Blizz-family? :p

but srsly, Blizzard has all the manpower they need to make this game. They just love to keep changing things. Like a few months ago, I dont think you could rewind replays (I think they said it wouldnt be possible), now you can. They want this game to be perfect. To bad it could be their undoing.

this was before they actualy announced SC2, that means that from the point we knew about SC2, the wait would have been the same.

He said the exact same thing the day of announcement. Welcome to May 19, 2007.

Still, I'd wait an additional year so that World Of WarCraft would be what it is today and provide Blizzard with the funding to make such a massive game.

Blizzard didn't make it faster expecting it to be their next cash cow. They were originally aiming for 100k-500k players (which would be larger than EQ). This is one of the reasons things were so rocky at the beginning.

Well wow is a good mmo so it's ok somehow. I'm a sc fan but I don't see the need to bash wow because of this.

So you would want them to delay an almost finished game to work on a game that was in the very very early stages of development? And if they had not delayed SC2 it wouldn't look as great as it does right now, they would have had to pull back on the graphical bells and whistles.
