The Carrier everyone asked for...

I remember very often people in this forum shared their disappointment in the model used for the carrier, and wanted improvements to it done or wanted one that closer resembled the old carrier.

Well you guys may want to closely peek at the video Blizz has up on their game guide, specifically for the single player campaign features. One shot shows a Protoss fleet duking it out against Terran vikings, while a familiar looking Carrier retreats. Its a bit fuzzy, but if you pause it as it turns to retreat, you can see that its really just that....a blend of the new carrier and old one.

I don't know what to think of it; sorta annoying how a cool looking ship is exclusively a hero unit

A screenshot or a general spot in the video would be nice.

EDIT: Found it. It just looks like the normal carrier at a different angle. Nothing new.

EDIT: I'd have to disagree hav0x, there is a shell covering the core of the carrier that shoots out its drones

I would agree that this is definitely a different model. The size of it compared to the other ships implies to me that it's a hero unit, and thus is the reason for the different model.

It's really hard to tell if it's more likable than the current one, though, because the shot you get of it is so short.

Looks like the Selendis Carrier to me.
