He got promoted before he joined Mengsk.
Though its pretty much retconned that he was a general for 15 years.
Also the Tosh bio has a dancing night elf.

anyone notice in the SP campaign video that the Hyperion in-game model is still the standard battlecruiser from MP? That's a little disappointing...esp since the Hyperion looks so different and is supposed to be another class altogether.
That's an old video. Could very well have changed since a lot of other hero units have their own models.
True dat. I also found this: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/lif...cle2844677.ece
So I guess it is possible. :p
I don't see why they'd have so many different Carrier models for various heroes and not have a Hyperion model considering that's basically the main staging area for the campaign :D
According to the date of upload on some of this stuff, it was added three days from now.
Guess Blizzard will let out some new exciting short story focused on Zeratul's exploration of the Ulaan underground XN site (and plus/or not pre-Kerrigan encounter) based *coughs* the 'cinematic vid spoiler'. (e.g. the XN gate, hallway, shrines, cavern chamber with its 3 unknown pillar unknown pillar figures and the central awaking temple, the prophecies etc..)
Here's a wikipedia list of notable child prodigies in all kinds of fields.

look at the campaign overview vid, i think the first BC that drops from the sky is the Hyperion
Interesting video.
So apparently Goliaths are larger than dropships. Interesting.
Huh? Where did that comparison come from?Quote:

I hope the Hyperion DOES get a different model since it is a hero unit after all, but it's not another class. It's the SC1 BC. The lore states that in SC2 there's a new BC although I don't know if that's true anymore since the Hyperion looks exactly like the SC2 Dominion BCs in their high poly model versions.Quote:

Watch the video that introduces the new campaign. Towards the middle you're shown the hangar bay which contains marauder suits, a goliath and medivac. The Goliath is much, much bigger than the medivac. Maybe it's one of the elite gollies.Quote:

Are you sure you're not looking at a Viking?
... Eff.Quote:

Well, it still looks like it might provide a reasonable point of reference for gollies...
Yeah, I agree. Which makes me wonder about the actual size of dropships. Every time we've seen them in anything besides the game itself, they never look big enough to hold anything other than infantry. Let alone Goliaths or Tanks.
I really wonder if there are different models of Dropships, some for infantry, some for heavy metal and for the sake of convenience and practicality they just made every unit fit into the dropship for the game.
doesn't matter what he's looking at. Marauders + Firebats shouldn't be half the size of dropships!
In the RTS game, unrealistic size is acceptable for gameplay, but this is meant to be a realistic representation of the universe. They could at least present like the bottom of the dropship to give the impression that it can fit normal sized people.
Another poster already mentioned it. The perspective is different. It looked odd to me but that's the only way to explain it. You see a guy standing beside the Banshee too, and he's perfectly normal sized. So use that as your reference point.
Er, I meant that the in-game (MP) versions of the BC are the new class of BC (notice the raised bridge) whereas the hi-poly versions, including the Hyperion, are the older Behemonth class BCs, without the raised bridge.
As for the scaling in the hanger, it's all fine except for the dropship - the dropship should be much larger. Everything else is pretty proportionate, though.
The siege tank, now that Pandanetho has pointed it out, doesn't look so bad now that we see the engineer to compare it to. BUT, it's the dropship that's out of proportion. I suggest they largen it, it would actually look pretty cool. It isn't so far that it would be accepted to be seen that small, especially if the viking is that big compared to it, assuming less than two humans can fit inside it.
