What Old Unit(s) are You Most Excited to See a Starcraft 2 Incarnation of?

This includes any campaign-only unit as well as units that have been previously playable in the beta.

Personally, I want to see a 3D version of the Defiler or Devourer. Despite being nearly phobic of bugs, I find the Defiler perfectly designed aesthetically, albeit frightening. I think a Starcraft 2 incarnation would scare the living crap out of me, not to mention how intimidating SC2 Zerg having Dark Swarm would be.

This too, actually. I'm really anxious to see what form he'll take in SC2. I do, however, think we won't be seeing Duran until the expansions at least.

I think that image is old....? The achievement Icon set showed a really cool Wraith.

The Queen of Blades of course, although it's my understanding that we'll have to wait for the Zerg campaign next year before we can control her. Hopefully though we get to fight her in Wings of Liberty.

Same! I can't wait to see Devourer, my favorite SC1 Unit next to the Lurker, and Defiler should be good too!

We saw Goliaths, Firebats, Medics, Vultures, Wraiths and out of all of them, Wraiths are the only ones that doesn't look good, so I have faith in them ;).
Yeah, we also saw Lurkers(new at least which isn't so cool :S) and Reaver when it was still in the game.

For those who want to see the scout, it's shown in the gameplay vid where Raynor goes to get Terrazine gas from the shrines. You see a couple of seconds of it (looks pretty good IMO) before it gets blown to bits by the generic sounding missiles of a couple of Goliaths (may you rest in peace, awesome SC1 Goliath missile sound).

The Valkyrie looked so awesome in BW too :(. Judging from the in-game portrait of Artanis, he looks 400 times more badass than in BW.

Unless this is post BW where they're allied with the UED to form the KLF.

Since "Nova" Lol. I was actually quite surprised to read that Valkyries were used by Confeds and also as secondary troop transport.

I would like to se alternate hero models like raynor, zeratul and ofcourse QoB but it's kind of obvious that she will get her own model.

I think theres a Zeratul model floating around these forums. Can't find it.

All others I've yet to see :(

Agreed, Artanis went from a sort of average plot device to a total boss just by having a decent portrait. It's amazing what those things can do, and I hope he and Tassadar will be in WoL in some way.

As far as old units go, firebats and goliaths maybe. Hopefully they sound badass. Is it wrong to assume we're only gonna see old Terran units in the single player for now - as far as the units we control?

Naw, I'm just going off an assumption. It does look like a Valkyrie though, but I guess anything is possible.

Both of those units have already been revealed in single player previews.

The Firebat looks like a red Marauder.
