Hmmm, looks like I'm going to be a party spoiler but I didn't think that was very impressive... :/

The fully animated cinematics were beautiful, but why the hell would they mix full animation with the other cut scenes? Like when Raynor puts a gun in his holster? That was really ugly. And the marine fights looked terrible to me. The cinematics with Zeratul, human Kerrigan, infested Kerrigan... THAT is what expected, even if the video were only 45s long... this... meh... much lower quality than what blizzard's gotten us used to imo (damn, I hate WoW now, but their cinematics were EPIC! And the same goes for Wc3's real cinematics, Stracraft's and even Wc2's (for their time of course).

Here... it's just a mash of two styles which don't blend at all, and it's like they got the guy who does every single blockbuster trailer off-voice to do all of the voices.

I didn't think that was epic at all. The real cinematics were nerdgasmic, but the rest just ruined it.

Looks like they just tried to make it look like a movie... and that's definitely not what a gaming experience is about.

I'll join the party pooper squad. Half of it was awesome, the other half sounded and looked like crap from four, five years ago.

It was pretty intriguing, but...completely ugly in far too many places. Was expecting more from these dominion unlocks. Heck, Legacy's video was more impressive than this, and done by fans.

@Jabber Wookie: It's just as common to have a Caucasian doing that singing as it is to have a Middle-Eastern or African person doing it.

Legacy's videos were prerendered. These are in-game videos done on the fly. Do you want it to rape your little computer or do you want to actually play it?

I wasn't disappointed at all.

And no. SCLegacy's pre-rendered stuff wasn't as good as the in-game cutscenes, I'm sorry to say. There's just a whole lot more detail and nuance in these cutscenes than in First Contact. Nothing against the artist, of course... he just isn't Blizzard. :)

X6 1090T, Radeon 5870, 8 gigs of ram. Nothing rapes my computer. Forgive me for expressing some little bit of disappointment in a trailer I thought would be better. Perhaps I'm not blind enough to be a true fan, but I did not find this trailer epic, and I found it disappointing.

Again, forgive me for having a view that differs from yours. Sheesh

K... that's kinda why I went out of my way to state my naivete and say no offense, but thanks for the info, no real feedback to my question though...

Do any of you guys think de-infesting Kerrigan is what Valerian is offering Raynor when he said "I can give you what you've always wanted"?

Crysis actually runs like a breeze at maxed settings :p

I didn't find Horace Warfield's voice that good in contrast to the superb voice acting for the rest of the characters, but I'll have to wait for the game's release.
