I know. But, I've already done that. And waited twelve years for the answer.
I wish you guys would realize that you're taking my words to an extreme I didn't intend them to be taken. Some of you are thinking that I want the Legacy Of The Void story elements to be in the first. When all I'm saying is that I want the ball to start rolling on things like the Xel'Naga and the Hybrids instead of waiting for the next product to have the first little hints given.
This isn't an issue now that I've rewatched some old beta videos so please drop it.

I know, but despite that, haha it just sounded corny to me. Don't get me wrong, I loved that trailer and it makes the 1 week wait so much more difficult :[

I was fine with Zeratul's line. It's a double entendre, referring to either the Ihan crystal, or to the soul searching Raynor has to do before he can become a better leader and man. It's a little cheesy, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Re: Warning SPOILERS: "Your efforts are about ot be rewarded in full, and then some."
It's hard for things not to sound cheesy with scene skips and trailer music in the background. Blizzard has always done a good job of makings this as non-cheesy as possible.

It obviously is getting the Xel'Naga story rolling since they are collecting Xel'Naga artifacts and the Zeratul convo with Raynor, but this is mainly Raynor's story.

Well, the alternative (to taking your words to an extreme) was to assume you'd forgotten the videos we've already seen, and I guess.. that turned out to be partly true!
Not only is obtaining the artifacts a crucial part of the plot, don't forget how important Zeratul's prophecy about Kerrigan turns out to be. Not just because Zeratul cares about her, but because she's important to the over-all mythos. There's absolutely no way they can lay all of this out in the game without going into SOME detail on just what the hell is going on behind the curtain.
So I think to the extent that you're looking for stuff on the XN, you're going to be very satisfied. :)
Re: Warning SPOILERS: "Your efforts are about ot be rewarded in full, and then some."
Gaaah, my brain is so fried from doing a week's worth of summer school homework (which is already five times more per day than regular classes) that I can't even formulate my sentences correctly. Sorry everyone. Let me rephrase.
I hope the entire campaign doesn't focus on Terran vs Zerg. I hope there's a smooth transition somewhere to the bigger scheme of things like they've done in the past. If the entire game is about Raynor vs Mengsk, Kerrigan vs Raynor, and then little Terran subplots then I'd be a bit disappointed. I know there's some Xel'Naga lore from the gameplay demonstrations and intro cinematic but that doesn't mean it's a major focus. Meaning, are these things going to be hinted at with a little spotlight in the Protoss campaign or is it going to take up a significant portion of the later missions of the game a la past Blizzard games have. But, like I've said, past videos and knowing Blizzard's story telling, I have no fear :D
Whew, hope I made some sense there. Damn you Blizzard for releasing this game on my final exam days! The 28th would've been so perfect since I could finish my finals, be done with the class, and kick off a month of blissful relaxation with the StarCraft 2 campaign. But, NOOOO!, they had to release it a day earlier and make me have to do my homework early :(
Re: Warning SPOILERS: "Your efforts are about ot be rewarded in full, and then some."
I've asked mods to close my thread under SC2 discussion, but seeing as how it's an official Blizzard release, I hardly think it's Spolier content, so shouldn't we mesh this thread and the 100% Unlock thread together??
I'm jumping back and forth to catch discussions regarding the same video. No biggie though
Re: Warning SPOILERS: "Your efforts are about ot be rewarded in full, and then some."
Alright here is my guess at the SC2 storyline.
Raynor is in a bar drinking the pain of losing Kerrigan away.
He runs into Tychus and does a few missions.
Zerg attacks, they escape and find out Kerrigan is up to no good.
They do some random missions lalala, save Dr. Hanson and what not.
Zeratul missions.
Zeratul talks to Raynor.
Raynor is in the cantina and Horner gives him a pep-talk.
He finally gets fired up.
Some stuff that I'm not sure about happens.
Raynor goes after Valerian to get revenge on Mengsk, but ends up being persuaded to team up with him to attack Char and go after Kerrigan.
Raynor "saves" Kerrigan, the end.
Of course there is more to it than that and there are some Xel'Naga threads throughout the missions.
Re: Warning SPOILERS: "Your efforts are about ot be rewarded in full, and then some."
Wow! That video was pretty goood. A touch over-dramatic at points but it's a trailer/promo/whatever so I guess it's supposed to be. After watching it, I have a few things to say:
1. I think Mengsk, Findlay and Warfield sound AWESOME!!
2. Am loving the action sequences.
3. I think Kachinsky is going to be a meme. Catchy name and a cool twang will see to that.
