Everything You Need To Play Starcraft II

This article on Kotaku gives players a summary of what the game is about, an overview of the sys requirements, and beginners tutorials on playing the game.
I've got everything I need to play SC2: A pre-order receipt for a store offering a midnight release, plenty of snacks, beer and coffee, and the 27th requested off from work.

Oh noes! I've lost my fingers! HOW AM I GOING TO MICRO?!?!?!
Re: Everything You Need To Play Starcraft II
Thanks, Blazur. My only concern is my processor speed of about 2 GHz, but it is a Tiburon dual core. Otherwise I'm good to go.

Practice with your toes! Quick! If you have the flexibility, use your tongue or nose at the same time! Lol.
Tychus, is your new pic of Browder the Andorian? Lol.

Ha...your "everything I need" is almost the exact same as mine...however I took off the 27th and 28th because I have "family in town."
I'm curious what other peoples lists are...in order of importance:
1.) Reserved copy at midnight release
2.) (2) days of work off
3.) Medicinal Herbs...for cooking
4.) Snacks
5.) Energy Drink
6.) Beer
7.) Bucket so I don't have to walk 10 feet to my bathroom (jk on that one)
Come Thursday when I have to work again, my sleeping pattern is going to be ruined. I forsee myself just taking 3-5 hour naps before jumping up and getting back to SC.

What do you need to be prepared for SC2?
1. Pack of Depends
2. Understanding wife
3. The game, pre-installed and ready to go
4. An exit on real-life social activities
5. Quit your job
6. Punching a loud bird in the face through the cage
7. 2 new cages for your 2 children. Keep it in range so they can play through the bars
8. Hot Pockets
9. A retractable cup holder attachment to the front of your computer tower.
10. 5 hour energy capsules equal to the amount of hot pockets
11. Setup a gym membership to be active in September, so you can burn the weight you are about to gain
12. The ability to ignore said gym membership, as you will be too busy playing SC2
13. Eventually, divorce and child support lawyers
14. Court papers involving rehab will be required in the future
15. House insurance as your house will be torn apart around you in a tornado but you ignored it because you found a way of activating "Defensive matrix" on your battlecrusiers and your sheer belief in the game world somehow kept you, your chair and your table in place while the rest of your building is torn asunder
Oh yeah, I forgot the most important... and legitly serious part unlike the above..
16. Include moving trucks, boxes, packing materials, totes, friends, etc.. Because Gifted is moving to a new place at the end of July and therefore won't be able to play SC2:WoL until at least a week or so later.
FML. *chuckles*

Unlike some ppl *points* meh got nothing but the excitement of the game.
Thats right: I have (0) reserved copies, (0) possibilities to travel to a store in US (Visa expired and dont wanna buy local), and most important, $(0) USD
Only thing you need is hope :]
Re: Everything You Need To Play Starcraft II

You just gave away the entire plot of "100 Years of Solitude"!!
What if some people here haven't read it yet?
