New Patch

I was playing a 3v3, and a new patch appeared (with a sign) so i did left my allies to their luck and started downloading it

No info yet :3

i also got a patching notification while playng, but as i quit after the game finshed, i didnt need to patch to relaunch....

Said the same thing for me but I could log-in right after that. I'd say it's just cause the server is running two patches.

I had to click it 8 times before it finally gave me the option to input my password.

I was trying to start a game when SCII suddenly crashed.

I tried using the Blizzard repair files that came up, but it failed. When I tried to start SCII again, it started patching. This happen to anyone else?

Same thing is happening to me. It is noteworth though that custom games like nexus wars work just fine.

Yeah, Sahara and I tried to play 3 or 4 games and got dropped at the same point in each one.

Maybe it was a joke from some of the people working on sc2. If it was they are having a great laugh. I'm surprised that beta hasn't been worse and crash a lot more.

Maybe it was just a Bnet patch which only required a tiny bit of client patching?

Maybe they withdrew the EU one shortly afterwards becase they got feeback from the US users.... So... I can/ am still playing. :)

I think the patch it's self is a bug. When have you ever known blizzard to not kick us off to force us all onto the same patch?

These are the patch notes I'm seeing....

StarCraft II Beta – Patch 17 (version 0.20.0.16036)

The latest patch notes can always be found on the StarCraft II Beta General Discussion forum.

Bug Fixes

Many of the following bug fixes were intended for internal testing only, and are now being reverted.

250mm Strike Cannons can no longer deal damage to hidden targets.

Barracks build time decreased from 65 to 60 seconds.

Bunker build time decreased from 40 to 30 seconds.

Canceling morphing Banelings now returns 75% of the cost like other morphing Zerg
units.

Hellion range reverted from 6 to 5.

Reaper build time decreased from 45 to 40 seconds.

Zealot build time decreased from 38 to 33 seconds.

Basing off the last few patches, we probably won't find what the patch did for a couple of days. Again, basing off the last few patches, Blizzard will take a couple of days to fix the problem.

all this patch did for me was i can no longer watch anyyyyyyyy bloody replays :P lol, unless they are super super new ones....which i apparently have yet to find.
