I've decided to replay all the campaign before sc2 comes out. I'm currently in the last campaign of the original at the mission where you must bring units inside of an academy on Char.
I can't believe how easy this game is now. The AI could so kill me anytime he wants if he wasn't so stupid.
I already played through SC1 and BW not long before the beta went live, so I don't feel like I need to do another playthrough right before release :p.
However, I'll probably zerg through it with cheats just to recap the dialogue ^_^. There's nothing quite like only having animated portraits on loop to make you pay attention to how good the voice acting is.

Replayed Terran campaign for the fun of it. I'm still thinking whether or not to do Protoss or Zerg campaign.
I've been slowly playing through Brood War and am now at the seventh mission of the last campaign, "Fury of the Swarm".
Those last Zerg missions actually become quite challenging, especially the ninth one (I hope to manage to unlock "Dark Origin" without cheats this time).
Going to run through the last missions of Queen of Blades, those are the only ones that I find quite challenging hoping I can beat Omega in my first try this time :S.

I just started the last mission of the Zerg campaign in the Original. Hopefully I'll be able to beat the entire campaign by the time the 27th comes along :D.
It's funny. My roommate and good friend has pestered me for so long about my love of StarCraft. It wasn't until last week that he stopped. He played on my Beta account, and god damn he played it much more than I did. I mean, I can play two, maybe three games before I'm done for the day. But he just kept going at it. After Beta ended, he resolved to play through the original campaigns before SCII came out.
Gotta love watching a man's first StarCraft experience. :D
Playing Brood war since i already beat the 1st one a couple weeks ago :D
I've done one complete play through starting a day or two after the beta ended. I completed that and am starting another one. I doubt I'll get past the first few missions though. I'm just doing it for the hell of it.
Nothing else can hold my attention, for the moment :D
I really love the missions in Brood War that were more about unit management than base building.
A personal favorite that I played through yesterday was the first 'Toss mission. It's like an Installation mission...but on an outside tileset.
Zeratul is such a badass.
I've been playing the missions like almost 50 times. But I played it 10 years ago. I haven't played the broodwar but only some campaigns like legacy of federation, etc. I still do enjoy reading the books though. :D

I tried skipping straight to the Zerg Campaign after having not played it in years.
It completely kicked my ass a few missions in. I didn't think I was that rusty... but I am more used to SC2 now, and SC1 isn't exactly flawless in terms of pathing and unit control (limit to twelve is a pain).
Have you not heard? Sc2 doesn't got better mechanics it's just that Sc1 is for pros and it's way better then Sc2!

Sc1 campaign is like mass goliath for terran, mass hydra for zerg and mass dragon for protoss :D
Playing through the BW campaign as we speak.
Microing dragoons is a lot harder than it seems :(
