With the way things are going on the "Join The Dominion" section on the Official StarCraft II website I think it will hit 100% on release day. I'm pretty sure people have made the prediction already but I wonder what they will unveil at 100%?

Probably nothing that would be more interesting than the game itself.
What exactly are we going to care about one release day?
Oh, yay, new artwork. Just what I need .. to look at on my way to the store to buy the game.

Or
Don't hit a pedestrian on your way to the store.
Maybe it could be the intro cinematic or something? /droooooooooooooooooooooooool
(ever since Perfecttear mentioned it could maybe be datamined from that (maybe false) Collector's Edition there was a post about, I haven't been able to stop myself from thinking about how the introduction cinematic might be - I hope it's not just the "Hell it's about time cinematic...)
Given the lame content so far, I'm not hoping for anything like an intro cinematic come 100%. The only good thing has been the story recap.
Yep, can't say I disagree.Quote:

Ya, that would totally make me drool when I could just go and watch it from the actual game itself instead.Quote:

Or it could finish one day before the release ;)
Nothing interesting actually. Maybe it works for newbies, as it gets their attention, but for any other fan it isn't really interesting. Maybe the "trailers" were a bit interesting, hearing the story from retrospective and with the images representing stuff, but that's about it.
Another trailer.
It wasn't meant as the unlucking feature would be the thing to drool about.
I just happen to drool everytime I think of the introduction cinematic and how it will be. /drooooooooooool
See? I just did it again. :)
But yeah. I don't think I've ever seen a Blizz intro cinematic that hadn't already been released before the game (maybe D2:LoD?, dunno) so I think in the end I'll go for the Tychus + Zeratul/Kerrigan, but it would be much more awesome if the Z/K would be the one introducing the Protoss Campaign, and some imba Zerg ambush on some no-good terrans would kickstart WoL. (SC1 Introduction cinematics are just so great!)
/droooooooooooooooooool again sorry. :p
That makes this thing a timed event, and facebook likes/promotional propaganda posters don't actually increase the bar like they said. Reminds me of the golden wrench thing with Valve where they lied to the community :P. Not saying it's true, just appears that way.
(isn't that how the progress bar works?)
We might be getting the game, but some people have already said on SC:L in some of the other threads that they will not be able to get the game when it comes out. Any update on release day will be mostly watched and enjoyed by them...
If you read carefully what I wrote, I did say I hoped seeing the Z/K battle combined with the Protoss Campaign, and that I would love seeing the intro consisting of some no-good terrans on a far away planet all of a sudden surrounded and devoured by huge masses of Zerg that pop out of nowhere. Very much like the SC1 original intro cinematic where the salvagers get pwned by the protoss.
I did say though that since nothing has been named anything like official intro cinematic, we could be very well be seeing something we've already seen before (the Z/K fighting scene sums up the plot pretty well, so that would be a candidate regardless of what I hope to see as an intro cinematic) as the intro cinematic. I'm also led to believe this since I've never seen a Blizz intro cinematic that hadn't already been released before the game.
Am I clear now? :p
You know what?
The entire salvaging and communications done right up until the protoss carrier arrives, from the SC1 intro cinematic, passed through my head when I read that commentary.
Heh. "Explain to meee, how we're gonna get all this home?"
That's one hell of a cinematic. The guy in the ship gets even his head exploded right in front of the camera. Hehe. Now that's StarCraft!
