What was the worst video game you've ever played?
Self-explanatory title. For me, it's a three-way tie between the 2007 Battlestar Galactica game, Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon (I've actually played it!), and CD-i Battleship.
BSG 2007 was dreck. You couldn't fly in a 3-D path, you needed mana to do a barrel roll (Peppy would get pissed real quick:p), all the maps were pretty much the same, filled with debris and asteroids, and you couldn't leave the sandbox.
Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon: I was real young (6) when I played this game, so all I remember about it were the cutscenes. Which I now see all the time in YouTube Poops.
CD-i Battleship: Soul-killingly boring.

Agreed. When i actually managed to complete the ring stage i could never get the next because the instructions for that stage literally flash before your eyes and you have no idea what to do...now i know that i had like 10 seconds to save 2 skateboarding punks from being hit by cars.

The Force Unleashed
Awful game.
Re: What was the worst video game you've ever played?
Force unleached? Yeah that sounds scary :D
I want to put "Doraemon" from NES. Unbeatable piece of f*ck, makes no sense NEVER.
And when I say unbeatable, it's saying a lot. I'm not good as SC or any RTS, but in actions I can beat almost any game given reasonable time.
DON'T play this game. It's quite qualitative, meaning it f*cks up in everything but working without awful glitches.
How do you like it - you've spent tremendous amounts of time finding sound weapon(or something like that) at first level, and when you get to the third, where invulnerable snake like Gyarados chases you you weapon downgrades! How is that logical?
Re: What was the worst video game you've ever played?
Time Lord for the NES.
Sure, I was really young back then, but even looking back at it, that game is ridiculous. It's almost impossible to beat. Me as a child makes it even worse. :p
Re: What was the worst video game you've ever played?
Maybe I'll try it somewhen to prove beat-proofness. :D

I have this game! :p Bah it's not that bad for a NES game. Never was able to beat the western stage though.
I'd have to say Superman 64 as well. I played a lot of bad games but I can find at least one fun thing about all of those games. I can't with Superman 64. Nothing is fun about this game. Well, of course it doesn't help that I really don't like Superman but man... with a character like Superman, I'm pretty sure that anyone can come up with a better game design than having to fly through rings for god sake.
Re: What was the worst video game you've ever played?
If you are speaking about almost impossible to beat games, try the freeware nightmare
I Wanna Be The Guy
Your sanity is at risk playing that game
:D

I remember seeing an ad on TV as a kid and almost crapped my pants because I thought it was so awesome. Then I played it and... bleh.

Wii Music. Shaking a control to act out the notes in a pre-recorded song might be fun for a toddler, but not a hardcore gamer and musician as well. What a POS that was.
Super Paper Mario for the Wii was also equally painful. Great idea in concept, but a childish story, easy and tedious gameplay, and it dragged itself out too much. I couldn't wait to complete that game so I could immediately sell it.
Re: What was the worst video game you've ever played?
No idea for worst game as far as craftsmanship and design...I have played some duds in my time but can't think of any for some reason.
But as far as the worst in the difficulty category goes...gotta give it up for one of my favorite NES games of all time.
The original, uber fun, uber frustrating (especially without the infinity lives cheat)...
